"Shrew!" At his ready cry Starla nodded and turned to the Zubat. She never liked that pokemon much. But didn't want to say it out loud for fear of upsetting it.
"Sand attack."

"Dodge and fly up in the sky and use tackle", he said
Zubat went really fast straight down towards Slasher
Jin waited to see the outcome of the attack

"Slasher, toss sand in the air and dodge it!"
The sandshrew did as told and tossed up tons of sand creating a vale of sand. Down he went to avoid the attack. When the cloud of sand had settled there was a hole where Slasher had once been.

Zubat crashed in the sand
It couldn't move with all the sand on it's wings.

"Slasher?" Starla called, worry etched in her voice. The sandshrew flew out of the hole towards the Zubat, his claws looking very sharp.

Starla watched Slasher silently. His claws still looked rather sharp. She never noticed Jin's departure or return with his friend. Slasher started to glow. Slasher evolved. Far too quickly for Starla's taste. The fury in his eyes almost frightened her. Yet when the sandslash turned to her the fury vanished and it bounded over to her happily.
All in all the silver haired trainer looked absolutely stunned.

Seth headed into Vermilion City to train. He headed towards the gym, in hopes of beating Lt.Surge. He wasn't sure if he could beat him with his team, but he knew confidence in his pokemon is key
