 Vermilion city is Kanto's largest port. It also has the Pokemon Fan Club, the 3rd Gym, a Pokemon Centre and Mart. There is plenty of fishing access. Pokemon: Horsea - Good Rod Krabby - Good Rod Magikarp - Good Rod Gyarados - Super Rod Psyduck - Super Rod Slowpoke - Super Rod Staryu - Super Rod Shellder - Super Rod |

Harry entered the city, wanting to check it out before he challenged the gym.
He looked around. They were right buy the sea, so the air smelt and tasted salty. Some high-flying Wingulls passed overhead.
Harry grinned and walked toward the Pokemon Center.
When he had healed, Harry walked over ot the Pokemon Fan Club, wanting to see who was inside.
He pushed open the door, and a Psyduck was causing havoc, running about and knocking people over. Harry smiled, and walked over to the CHairman, who looked really lost.
"What's up?" Harry asked.
The Chairman looked at him. "This Psyduck is upset about something. We can't calm it down!" He said urgently.
Harry went over to the shocked trainer. "Try telling it to use Calm Mind." Harry advised.
The trainer nodded and did just that.
The Psyduck sat down, eyes glowing blue, and calmed right down, before waking up and not remembering it at all.
Harry smiled. "Happy to help." He said.
The Chairman laughed. "Thankyou trainer! I'm afraid I have no reward for you." The man said.
Harry shook his head. "No worries. I don't need anything." He said.

A few minutes later, Harry departed the Fan Club, after having a chat with all the Trainers there.
He set off towards the gym, he had picked up a couple of expert tips from the Chairman, and was hoping to put them into practice.

Maria entered Vermillion and walked to the pokemon center.
"Hello Nurse Joy!" She said happily as she walked up to the counter with Ace on her shoulder.
"Hello Maria." She said, smiling.
Maria was finnaly getting use to all the nurse Joy's looking alike. "Could you heal my pokemon?"
"Sure thing, they'll be back with you in a moment." She said taking Chardar, Ace and Eve away.
Maria waved to them as she brought them to the back. Maria walked over and sat down in a chair.
She shuffled through her pokedex, counting how many pokemon she'd seen so far...
"Wow, almost thirty so far...that's great." She said to herself as Nurse Joy walked her pokemon back to her. Eve jumped into her arms, "Good to see your feeling better!" Maria said to him.
"You take good care of your pokemon Maria."
"Thank you Nurse Joy." Maria said to her.
Nurse Joy smiled and nodded, "Oh and there's someone on the phone for you..." She said pointing over to one of the monitors.
"Professor!" She said, rushing over. "Hello Professor Oak!"
"Hello Maria, good to see you again. I'd hoped that you'd have made it to Vermillion by now..." He smiled, "You've got your badges then?"
"Yep, My Boulder Badge and Cascade Badge. I'm going to challenge Lt. Surge soon, do you have any advice for me?" She asked, excitedly.
"Well let's see..." He thought a moment, "Lt. Surge, the Vermillion Gym Leader, ah yes. He uses electric type pokemon so you might not want your Pidgeotto fighting today..." He said to her.
"Alright, thanks for the advice professor." Maria said to him smiling.
"Always happy to help, good-bye now."
"Bye Professor." She said and the monitor went black.

Maria walked out of the Pokemon center and towards the Gym...

Aaron walked into the PokeCenter, where there was a beautiful sunrise out the window. He walked up to Nurse Joy, who was tending to a small, little Pidgey. "Hiya Nurse Joy," he said, "Can you heal my Pokemon?" "Sure thing," she said, taking his Pokeballs and putting them on the Refresh rack. Aaron was finally getting used to the fact that there were thousands of Nurse Joys, and that there were also thousands of Officer Jenny's.
Aaron finally recieved his Pokemon and was about to leave when he spotted a trainer with a Pallet Town mark on his shirt. He walked up to the boy and asked, "Are you from Pallet Town? I am. My name is Aaron Nightshadow. I just got my Boulderbadge and Cascadebadge."
(Jin, I'm talking to your guy.)

"No I'm from the Sinnoh Region", he said
Jin then walked outside to train some bit
He saw a trainer and challenged him
He released a Turtwig
Jin released Charmander
Charmander used ember
Turttwig was badly hurt
Turtwig used vine whip
Charmander was hurt alittle
Charmander used ember
Turtwig fainted
He released Marshtomp
Charmaner used metal claw
Marsh got damaged
marsh used scratch
charmander used flame claw
Marsh used headbut
Charmander used ember
Marsh used scratch
charmander used ember
Marsh fainted
"What is that light", Jin said
"Your Charmander is evolving", the trainer exclaimed
Charmander evolved into Charmelion

Aaron was slightly fazed by the blunt remark of the trainer, but he decided to go along with it and went outside to walk towards the Gym.

Maria walked back to the pokemon center after the battle, her Thunder Badge pinned safely inside her jacket. She sat Eve on the counter and waited for Nurse Joy to come back up front. She looked at Aaron for an answer.

"Well," Aaron began, "I'm a Pallet Town trainer. Bill told me that you were one of the trainers who left from town. Prof. Oak sent him the names of the trainers. It's nice to meet you. My name's Aaron Nightshadow. I just got my Vermillion City badge, and got Cerulean and Pewter ones, too."
Aaron smiled slightly while giving his Pokemon to nurse Joy for healing. "Wanna battle afterwards?"

"No problem," Aaron replied, "But I have no intent on losing, either." Aaron took his Pokeballs and hung them on his Pokebelt. "Wanna battle in Route 11? Meet me there." Aaron walked off the Route 11, excited about the battle.

Harry decided to go back to Cerulean for a little training, when he saw a small glowing stone in a corner. Harry picked it up, and looked it over.
It was bright orange, glowing, and shaped like an Oran berry. Harry looked at it, and decided to go show it to Professor Oak.
He walked over to the TeleLink machines, and typed in Oak's number. The Professor soon appeared on the other end. Harry smiled. "Hi Professor." He said.
"Hi Harry. What's up?" He asked.
Harry showed him the stone. "I have no idea what it is. The PokeDex can't recognise it. " Harry said.
The Professor looked confused. "I have never seen anything like it!" He said. "Is there any chance of you bringing it to me here in Pallet?" He asked.
Harry smiled. "Sure thing Professor. I'll bring it as soon as possible. Bye." He said, turning the machine off.
He set off for Pallet Town, wondering what it was.
