Gym #2 - Cascade Badge

[Kathy]

Kathy started, "Bolt, Thunder Shock!", but Misty shot right back, "Staryu, Rapid Spin!" Staryu began to spin around, repealing the Thunder Shock. "Bolt, Tackle!" Bolt charged and made a dead hit. "Alright! We win at speed!!" Kathy gave a glare at the Staryu as it got back up. "Water Gun!" Staryu shot a Water Gun at Bolt, also making a dead hit. "Bolt don't give up...Tackle it again!!" Bolt once again headed towards Staryu with another Tackle, but Staryu quickly dodge and hit it back with Rapid Spin.

Bolt flew backwards and hit the wall, hard. "Come on Bolt, we have to win this!" Bolt got up and pounced back to it's place. "Okay Bolt lets do it, Double Team!" Bolt concentrated for a moment and created a dozen illusions of itself. Staryu was pretty confused. "Okay lets finish it, Thunder Shock!!" Bolt released it's powerful Thunder Shock right at Staryu, leaving it fainted. Kathy cheered and hugged Bolt. Misty returned Staryu and chose out Starmie, another starfish Pokemon. She ordered Starmie to use it's Water Pulse. It hit dead on and Bolt fainted. Kathy ran over to Bolt and picked it up. "You did a great job." SHe placed it down against her bag to rest. "Alright, for my last Pokemon, I chose you Diamond!!"

As the red beam cleared, the brown and soft Pokemon appeared. It cried it's cheery cry and glared at the Starmie. "Diamond, Tackle!" Diamond took an aim and charged right to Starmie and made a slight hit.

[Kathy]

Starmie was back up and used it's Tackle. "Dodge it Diamond, then Growl!!" It dodged and used it's Growl. Starmie backed down as Diamond went for another Tackle. But this time it was ready and dodged. Diamond made a slip and fell into the water. When it got back up, Starmie dove and hit it back down. Now Kathy was getting worried. "Diamond, pretend the water is sand and use your Sand Attack to charge forward. Diamond nodded and made a successful jump.

Kathy smiled and told it to Tackle as Misty told Starmie. The both hit head on as the hit the water. Starmie had no problem, nor did Diamond. They both tried Tackle many times, until Kathy called for a Tail Whip. Starmie backed down as Diamond charged for it's Tackle, making a successful hit. Starmie stood for awhile but then fainted. Kathy cheered and gave Diamond a hug. Even Bolt was up cheering on. Misty returned Starmie and went over to Kathy. The handed Kathy a Cascade Badge and thanked her for the great battle. Kathy thanked back and she left the gym for the Pokemon Center.

Dale entered the gym Walking past many of the other trainers.
Dale: Misty, I'm here to challenge you.
Misty: It will be a 1 on 1 match. No time limit. Go staryu.
Out came an odd pokemon, like a star

Dale: Go, Pucks!
Out came the pruple Pikachu.
Dale: Thunder shock.
Pucks: Pika.
The electricity hit the star pokemon dead on.
Misty: Staryu, rapid spin.
The star pokemon hit pucks who was thrown across the field.
Dale: Quick attack, then use thunder shock.
Thats was the mouse did and staryu was knocked back into the water.
Dale: Pucks, use thunder shock on the water!
The electricity cut through the water and the star pokemon floated to the top.
It had fainted.

Misty: No, i can't have lost. Oh, well heres your cascade badge.
Dale: Return Pucks, you did well. You too misty, your a great trainer.
Misty let a few tears fall from her eye.
Dale: It's not that bad loosing is it?
Misty: No, it's just that you remined me of another trainer I once knew, he loved his Pikachu. Oh i hope hes alright.
Dale:Thanks you misty, hope to see you again sometime.
Dale walked out of the gym with Burny and Pucks walking close behind him.

Jack reached Cerulean City and headed over the gym.He rushed in and saw misty.Jack asked to battle him.Misty agreed and Refree said the gym rules it was 2vs2 battle.Misty called out staryu , Jack called out butterfree.They started the battle.Jack said butterfree to use tackle.Misty's staryu dodged then used water gun.Butterfree easily doged it.Butterfree used solarbeam it took 3 damage (staryu's hp=45/75) stary used rapid spin and hit hard (butterfree's hp=40/60).Butterfree used stun spore and the staryu fell asleep.The refree declared that staryu is unable to battle , this round goes to butterfree.Misty called back staryu and called out starmie.Jack examined starmie in her pokedex .They starte again.Misty's starmie used rapid spin and hit butterfree (butterfree's hp=10/60).Butterfree used stun spore But starmie jumped in water dodged it.And suddenly starmie surprisly came out of water using rapid spin.It knocked out butterfree.The referee declared that butterfree is unable to battle.

Jack called back butterfree and called out spearow.Sperow use peck Jack commanded and hit starmie (starmie's hp=55/75).Misty get angry and commanded starmie to use water pulse it hit directly (spearow's hp=45/68).Spearow use gust (starmie's hp=30/75).Then wing attack (starmie's hp=10/75).Starmie use rapid spin and hit.Now the both pokemon had same hp.Starmie used rapid spin and spearow use peck they both crash they layed on the ground trying to the starmie and spearow managed to stand but starmied again fell and fainted.The referee declare that starmie is unable to battle Jack wins the battle.Misty came towards me and handed me the cascade badge.I that him and headed towards the next city.

Bob and Will entered the gym then challenged misty.She agreed.We asked him for like that battle in pewter gym.She agreed.Misty send out staryu and starmie.Will send out bulbasaur.I send out nidoran.Nidoran used poison sting and bulbasaur used vinewhip.

Bek walked into the gym, finding Misty training her Staryu.
Bek: Misty! I challenge you to a match to earn a Cascade badge.
Misty agreed. They would both use 2 pokemon.
Misty: Staryu...Go!
Bek: Volter, I choose you!
The two pokemon popped out of their pokeballs.
Misty: Staryu, use Water-gun!
Bek: Dodge it, and use a Thundershock!
Piiii.....Chuuuuuu!!!!! When the dust disappeared, the Staryu was knocked out!
Bek: Way ta go, Volter! You did it!
Misty: Staryu, return! Go Starmie!
The water pokemon popped out of it's pokeball. Pichu didn't like it. And Bek knew it.
Bek: Volter, use Thundershock! One last time!
Misty: Starmie, use Confuse Ray!
The star pokemon let out a wave of energy just as Pichu did a Thundershock. Causing a huge explosion! When the dust cleared, both pokemon were knocked-out!
Bek ran to her Pokemon's side, picking up the little Pichu.
Bek: Are you O.K, buddy?
Volter: Pi...Pi.(I'm OK. I think I'm going to be at the pokemon center for awhile!)
Bek was relieved that her pokemon was Ok.
Misty: You really eared this.
She put a badge in Bek's spear hand. Bek looked at it. She couldn't belief her eyes! She had earned a Cascade badge!
Bek: Thanks!

That afternoon was spent at the pokemon center. Tomorrow will be great! Just like Volter was. She loved her pokemon. And nothing would ever change that.

Staryu and Starmie dive underwater.We both groaned.Bulbasaur use sweet scent.Stary and Starmie came out of water themselves.No No Misty cried.Bulbasayr use vine whip then razor leaf and then finish them with solarbeam.Nidoran use poison sting I called.Staryu fainted.Misty called back staryu.Suddenly my nidoran starts glowing then evolved into nidorino.Nidorino use stomp I cried.Starmie use agility.Nidorino dodged it but bulbasaur get hit and start glowing.It evolved into Ivysaur.Ivysaur finish him with solarbeam Will commanded.Dodge it Misty called.Nidorino use poison sting I called.Staryu get confused and hit by the two attack knocking out.Misty called back starmie and handed cascade badges to both of us.We get healed our pokemon when we left the gym have some training then my charmander evolved into charmeleon then we headed towards rock tunnel.

[Dark Slayer]

Walking into the gym, Dark looked around. The gym was FILLED with water. Of course had expected this, hearing about this gym in Celedon. Actually, he was rather happy in the gym. He loved the water. Absolutely loved it. That and he knew that he could probably easily win this battle. He could with Spark easily, he was sure.

A girl with red hair waved at Dark. "Hey you! You wanna get a Cascade Badge, don't you?" When he nodded, she smiled. "I knew it. Alright, well then we'll battle. It'll be a two on two pokemon battle. Alright?"

And the battle began. Misty's first pokemon was a Staryu. Deciding to take things a little slow, and wanting to conserve Spark's energy, Dark decided to sent out Stang. It was a tough battle. Every time Dark tried having Stang use horn attack, the Staryu fought back with a burst of water gun. Eventually, Stang was pretty worn out, and Staryu had hardly been hit. Back to the basics... while Stang was going for a tackle, Dark told it to shoot out a poison sting. The poisonous barbs hit the Staryu and luckily poisoned it. Dodging the attacks Staryu performed on Misty's command, Stang soon was the winner of that battle.

The next pokemon to defeat was a Starmie. Knowing that there was no use to have Stang get knocked out, Dark returned him and then sent out Spark. Misty knew that there was almost no hope for her. But she would have to make sure that it was a tough battle for Dark. A quick attack hit the Starmie, but that didn't do too much damage. Then it shot out a burst of a water gun. Knowing what to do, Dark had Spark use thundershock, which wrapped around the water gun and hit the Starmie. The Starmie was fainted, and Misty returned it.

"You are a remarkable trainer," Misty said, handing over a Cascade Badge. "I wish you the best of luck throughout your journey."

"Thank you very much. That battle was a very good one." Nodding, he left the gym and looked up at the sky. Now he would continue on underground to Vermillion City.

[frappe]

Frappe entered the gym and headed straight to the spot where the gym leader stood. "I challenge you to a battle!"
"Bulby, start it off with a vine whip on her staryu, now!" Bulby whipped the foe causing great damage because of the grass type move. The staryu whammed against the wall. The staryu followed up with a rapid spin, it did almost nothing. "Bulby, one more vine whip to finish it off!" Bulby whipped the foe one more time. Stayryu staggered backwards and fainted. "Bulby, vine whip on the foe now!" The fope staggered backwards, it was a critical hit! Starmie followed up with a water gun. Bulby lost it's balance and slid acrass the floor ramming into the wall head first. "Bulby, use one last vine whip!" The great ivysaur whipped the foe. The starmie tried to keep concious, but failed. The starmie was fainted!

"Here is the official cascadebadge. The next gym leader will be L.T. Surge. He uses electric types. Beware, he is much stronger then me."

"Wow! My second badge! Only 6 more to go!"

Senji entered the Gym greeted by Misty he threw his Pokeball and Pikachu came out Staryu used Water Gun Pikachu got hit and dived into the Ocean Staryu was under there Pikachu used Thunder Wave under the Ocean Parlizing Starmy he then jumped into the air and used Thunder Bolt Staryu was still paralized the also used Tackle Pikachu dodged and countered with Tail Whip then Starmyu Tackled Pikachu leaving him out.Senji threw his Pokeball and Pidgey came out it used Gust taking out Starmy

Misty: Congratulations here is your Badge

Senji:Thank you that was a Great Match

Adam entered the gym..
all around was water withe water sourts coming up every so often
it was every water pokemons dream
Adam quickly shook off his feelings towards this place and made his way to what he guessed was the gym leader
he asked if she was and she replied yes i am i suppose you have come for a battle my names Misty by the way ok lets go!
Misty sent out Staryu
Go Pidgeotto
Staryu used bubblebeam
Pidgeotto is hit hard
Pidgeotto shakes it off and fires a wing attack staryu
Staryu looks hurt
Misty returns Staryu
and sends out Starmie
Pidgeotto is immediatly hit by Starmie's water pulse and knocked out
Adam reutnrs Pidgeotto
he did not realise this battle would be so difficult
Adam sends out Wartortle
Starmie uses rapid spin
Wartortle hides inside his shell and is protected by his shell
Wartortle then quickly uses Rapid spin combined with a water gun and starmie faints
Misty then refuses to send out staryu forfeiting the match
Adam beat Misty
Misty congratulates Adam on his battling skills and praises him as a pokemon trainer
Misty then gives Adam the Cascade Badge
Adam leaves the gym heals his pokemon at the pokemon center and heads for the next town in search of wild pokemon, trainers and gym leaders to challenge
