pokestar entered the pewter gym and started the battle against brock for the gym bagde

bulbasuar use vine whip it did 20 damgde to geodude
geodude did tackle it did 11 damagde
bulbasuar did vine whip again it did 20 damagde
geodude did rockslide it did 16 damagde
bulbasuar did tackle it did 7 damagde
geodude fainted

brock took out onix
bulbasuar did vine whip it did 21 damagde
onix did tackle it did 15 damagde
bulbasuar did a new move razorleaf it was 25 damagde
onix did rockthrow it did 17 damagde
bulbasuar finished onix off with a vine whip 21 damagde
onix fainted

brock said proudly"u are a good trainer i must admit here u earned the boulder bagde

pokestar said happily"thank u oh yeah i got the boulder bagde good job bulbasuar.

pokestar and bulbasuar ran out the gym went to the pokemon center and headed to the next route

[iAaron]

Pewter Gym was a old, relic-like building, with a stone inscription of a Onix fighting a Geodude, with the words underneath, "PE TER G M." The W and Y were so old and faint that you could barely read the words. Aaron sighed and walked into the Gym. There were different trainers, while a tall, muscular man, whom appeared to be the one they called Brock, was sitting on a stone seat. He was staring at Aaron.

Trainers started to approach Aaron, looking eager for battle. "Stop," said Brock, his eyes narrowing in on Aaron, "I have a feeling he will make a good match." Brock stood up and motioned for the trainers to leave. They grunted and muttered under their breaths, but walked out a small, rock-covered exit. Suddenly a large gym platform rose, and rock surroundings popped out. "This is the Arena," Brock said, smiling. "You ready to battle?" "Yeah," Aaron said, grabbing for Blazer's ball.

"Start!" yelled Brock, hurling his ball, releasing a Geodude. "This is a 1 on 1 battle. I have six Pokemon, but these new Pallet Town kids wiped me clean of most of the Pokemon." "Alright, fine," said Aaron, toying with his ball. Which Pokemon should he release? Pikachu was defiantly not ready, and Twitch was higher than Pixie, so if anyone would battle, it would be him. The choice was between Blazer and Twitch. The decision would be his... "Go Blazer!" yelled Aaron, releasing the strong Charmander. Blazer flipped twice in midair before landing.

"Hah," Brock said, his eyes triumphant, "This Geodude is my strongest. You'll have a hard time beating him. Geodude, use Rock Smash!" Geodude used Rock Smah, but Blazer narrowly dodged it. Blazer counter-attacked Geodude with a Ember. Geodude rolled down a rock, slightly hurt, but not critically injured. "Use Defense Curl, Geodude!" Geodude strengthed his Defense immediately. "Blazer, use your specialty we rehearsed! Use Blaze Swipes!" Blazer stored energy. Geodude rolled into Blazer, but he stood firm. Blazer charged more. Geodude used a Focus Punch, making Blazer even weaker. But Blazer stood firm. Finally he roared as his paws engulfed in flames. He swung at Geodude, knocking him out instantaneously.

Blazer smiled at Aaron in victory, then suddenly gasped. His body began to transform, all the way to a Charmeleon! "Wow," Brock said, returning Geodude. "After all my battles of training, I have never seen a cooler move than that. I proudly present you this badge." Aaron recieved the Boulder Badge proudly and walked out with a badge, his ability to use Flash, and the TM Rock Tomb. Aaron smiled as he healed his Pokemon and headed to Route 3, happy with Blazer's new evolution.

[brock vs ezekiel]

as ezekiel enterd the gym he saw tyhe leader immediatley. he was sitting on a chair high above the battlefields. "brock i challenge you to a battle" he yelled from the entrance. Brock nodded his head and jumped from his chair onto the floor infront of ezekiel."this match will be between braoc of pewter city gym and ezekiel the challenger" the judge said" the first to have all his pokemon faint loses trainers choose your first pokemon"

"geodude go" brock said sending out his geodude
ezekiel pulled out his pokedex which said Found in fields and mountains. Mistaking them for boulders, people often step or trip on them.
"ok go blackout" zeke's wartortle emerged ready for battle.
"geodude use rock throw" brock commanded
squirtlke dodged and used a powerful water gun which knocked it out instantly
"good job blackout"
"geodude return" brock said "go onyx"
ezekiel took out the pokedex again As it grows, the stone portions of its body harden to become similar to black-colored diamonds.
"ok blackout use water gun"
"onix dodge and use headbut" onix dodged the attack and countered with a powerful headbut
"shake it off blackout and use watergun" this time tha attack was a critical hit and did severe damage to onix. " ok blackout finish it with skullbash" the small squirtle began taking in energy and finally released it in a devestating attack which knocked the onix to the floor.
"onix is no longer able to battle. Ezekiel is the winner" th judge declared
brock came over to present ezekiel with the boulder badge"good luck" he said
"thanks. blackout come back" he said returning squirtlke tyo the pokeball. then he left and headed onward to the next gym.

[Jakob and Jasmine]

Jake walked on to the arena."Welcome to the pewter city gym" a voice said from across the arena."Im here to earn the boulder badge by defeating Brock the gym leader" Jake said as he looked around."Very well then lets begin" the voice said again. then a tall youth stepped into the light and held up a pokeball."You must be brock the Gym Leader here arent you" Jake said pulling out his pokeball."Yes i am now lets battle go Geodude" brock cried releasing his pokemon."Ok lets do it Bulbasaur use razor leaf" the recently released bulbasaur sent two leafs flying at geodude
"Geodude use rock throw to stop those leaves and then use mega punch"
the mega punch hit bulbasaur and sent it flying into a wall
"Bulbasaur use vine whip to grab geodude at eye level and then use take down!"
vines sprung from the seed on bulbasaurs back and held the geodude within striking range of the take down
"geodude use headbut on bulbasaur"
geodude swung his head forward just as bulbasaur was about to hit it with take down in a collision that sent them both flying
"bulbasaur use vine whip to grap geodude and swing it into a wall then use razor leaf"
the newest attack combo was a success and geodude fell to the ground in a faint
"geodude return, onix attack"
the giant rock snake ertupted from its pokeball and stood towering over Jake and Bulbasaur
"Ok bulbasaur use synthosis then use the petal ance we practiced"
the seed began glowing on bulbsaurs back as it began healing then it attacked with petals from the seed
the attack was a critical one and left onix dazed "finish it bulbasaur use razor leaf" the leafs flew and hit onix in a perfect attack and it felkl to the ground
"Very well done now here is your badge" brock said handing him a small item
"now look at your bulbasaur which i belive is evolving"
bulbasaur was indeed glowing and then it began to grow and the flower started to bloom from his back until it became an ivysaur
"Wow you finally evolved ok ivysaur return" the new pokemon returned to its ball
"thank you brock ive got to go now bye" Jake said as he left through the door and on to the next gym

[Orethon]

Orethon stalked into the gym followed by Squirtle, who seemed eager to battle. He was stopped by a tan-skinned trainer with spiky hair.

"Sorry, I don't have time to battle," snapped Orethon. "I'm looking for Brock, not some pathetic underli-"

"I am Brock." said the trainer calmly, "And I'd advise you to show some manners."

Rolling his eyes, Orethon replied "Well, maybe I do have time for a battle... snh-huh-huh... 1v1?"

Brock narrowed his eyes and threw a pokeball. "Onix, go!" The ginat rock snake appeared in a flash of blinding light.

"Lets go for it Squirtle..." said Orethon. "Start out with a Water Gun!" Water Gun hit Onix in the face, causing it to rerar back in pain.

"Onix use Rock Throw!" ordered Brock.

"Use Withdraw Squirtle!" commanded Orethon. The rock fell all around Squirtle but he was safe inside his shell.

"Use Bind Onix!" said Brock. Onix wrapped itself around Squirtle and began to squeeze. Even though Squirtle had a shell he began to feel the pressure. Gasping for breath, he tried to wriggle free to no avail.

"Try another Water Gun!" said Orethon. Squirtle tried, but he was weak and the dribble of water didn't do much damage. Orethon was about to give up in frustration when he saw Squirtle was glowing. Squirtle was evolving!

"WARTORTLE!" the new Pokemon shouted, firing off a much more powerful Water Gun at the surpised Onix, who let go of the Wartortle and writhed about in pain.

"Alright!" said Orethon, grinning wickedly. "Finish it Wartortle! Use a Bubble!" The hail of glowing bubbles hit the weak Onix, who promptly fainted. Without a word, Brock returned his Onix and tossed a badge at Orethon who caught and left the gym, grinning at his victory.

Danny walked into the gym. He had trained Bulbasaur to level twenty after walking around in the forest for a while and his father had sent him a poliwag. Danny sent out poliwag which knocked out geodude with two water guns. Then his Ivysaur K. O.'d Onix with a well aimed razor leaf. Smiling and holding the leaf badge Danny left the gym.

the Focus punch hit bulbasaur and sent it flying into a wall

"Akando quick use vine whip to dodge the use razor leaf geodude fainted
"Geodude return come on Onix use body slam Akando fainted
"Akando return come on out lille use Confusion

the attak sent Lille fly back into a wall then lille start to glow nataile wached lille evolve into Beedrill
"Lille use Fury Attack then use Poison Sting

"lille dodge and finsh onix off with Pin Missile

Starla entered the gym silently and looked around. Brock spotted her but said nothing till she looked at him.

"Welcome trainer." he stated. She bowed to him.

"I am here to battle you for my first badge." she said to him and he nodded.

"This will be a two on two battle. No time limit. Is that alright with you?"

"That is fine."

"Alright then. Go Geodude!"

"Lil Tatty Take it out!"


The pokemon were sent out and faced off with one another. The tiny rat glared at the floating rock while the floating rock looked over confidant.

"Tatty, Tail Whip!"

"Geodude, Rock Throw!"

Starla's eyes grew wide as Geodude tossed rock after rock at Lil Tatty, each one hitting. Tatty slowly stood on his feet and glared at the other pokemon, he was still willing to fight.

"Use Quick attack and then bite!"

"Defense Curl"

Starla prayed that her training with Lil Tatty would pay off. The rat flwe at the rock with quick attack, the move crit even though it was not very effective. Tatty then clamped his teeth upon Geodude's arm causing it to flinch.

"Use pursuit and return to me!"

Tatty dug it's back heals and claws into the rock's head, pushed himself off the rock and landed perfectly on the ground in front of Starla.

Geodude floated there somewhat dazed.

"Shake it off Geodude and Tackle that rat!"

Geodude shook off what had just happened to it and flew at Lil Tatty. It slammed into it making the rat fly into a wall KOing it.

"Tatty!! Return. you did well my little one. Checkers lets finish this."

The bug pokemon floated there silently for a moment the watched Geodude carefully.

"Geodude, Tackle it!"

"Checkers, Confusion!"

A blue aura surounded the rock pokemon and it suddenly flew againsed the wall knocking it out cold like it had done to the rat.

"Geodude return. You are doing well so far. But you will not have an easy win here. Go, Onix!"

The rock snake pokemon loomed over the butterfly. Starla looked upon it in admiration.

"You have raised your Onix very well. and it looks strong. I have seen many of his kind in the wild back home."

"Thank you. You have trained very well with your own pokemon. Let us see how this match ends. Onix bind it!"

"Checkers dodge it and use string shot!"

As Onix went to wrap it's self around the bug, Checkers flew out if reach and sprayed it with a sticky web causing it's speed to be lowered.

"Confusion!"

"Tackle it!"

The Onix went after it for it's tackle but was surrounded by a blue aura and flung into a wall. It slithered back into the ring dazed and confused. It started to move oddly.

"Shake it off Onix! Bind it!"

"Confusion, Checkers!"

Onix used bind on itself just as that blue aura surrounded it again and was flung back againsed the wall. Onix fell to the ground and didn't move. Borck recalled it back.

"Congratulations. Not many would think to use a Butterfree against me. I award you this Bolder Badge. Good luck to you."

"Thank you. Onix and Geodude are common where i come from, so it was a wonderful thing to see a trainer that cared for them so well." Starla accepted the badge and bowed to Brock. He bowed in return. She turned and walked silently out of the gym with Checkers on her shoulder.

She was happy as she returned to the pokemon center.

[Tony]

Tony walked in with both Charmander and Pikachu at his side. Brock stood up and the two trainers approached the arena. "Two on Two battle okay with you?" Brock asked. "Yep." Tony said smiling.

"Go Geodude!" Brock said as his Geodude appeaerd on the arena.
"Pikechu go!"
"Pika!" His Pikachu said cheerfully as it ran out to the stadium.
"Geodude use rock throw." The Geodude began throwing rock, the first few Pikachu easily dodged, but then began to get pumpled.
"Come on Pikachu!" Tony yelled. pikachu got out of the way of the rest of the rocks.
"Don't you know that an electric type like Pikachu has a huge disadvantedge over a rock type like Geodude?" Brock asked with somewhat of a laugh.
Tony smirk as Brock spoke. "Pikachu, agility." PIkachu ran at high speed around Geodude. " Tony watch carfully so he could time it just right. "Pikachu now! Iron Tail!" Pikachu jumpped right above Geodude with his tail aglow.
"Geodude get out of the way!" Brock yell. Geodude wasn't fast enough and got slammed to the ground by Pikachu's Iron tail. As Geodude with the ground witha bang dust filled there air, as it cleared Geodude was seen KOd and Pikachu not that far behind.
Tony looked at Brock. "I know that electric has a disadvantedge to rock, but I also know a stell type attack like Iron Tail has an advatedge over a rock type like Geodude. Tony slightly snickered.
"Go Onix!" Brock said as the huge rock pokemon arrived onto the battle field. "Pikachu come back." Tony said as Pikachu returned to his pokeball. "Charmander your up. "Char!" The little pokemon said happily.
"Onix, dig!" The giant snake burrowed under ground.
":Charmander look out!" Tony said as the gound under Charmander began to crack. Onix came uip under Charmander sending him flying. He came back to the ground on his feet. "Charmander Ember." Tony said as Charmander shot flames at Onix. It seemed like thew attack barly did anything. however it left a burn. " Onix wrap." Brock said as Onix wrapped around Charmander. " Charmander, ember again." Charmander struggled to get his mouth free, then aiming at Onix's face he let out an ember, which did enough damage to make Onix let Charmander go. Trying to think of an attack that would help, Tony called out to Charmander. "Try metal claw." Charmander ran toward Onix and attack, although Charmander tried metal claw it was only a scratch attack. " Onix use rock tomb" Brock said as Onix made many rocks fall on Charmander, trapping him. "Charmander try again!" Tony yelled. Charmander's claws glew as he slashed at the rocks. "Yes! Great job Charmander, now go get Onix!" Charmander ran toward Onix using metal claw. " Onix slam!" The giant Onix slammed down on Charmander KOing it. " Charmand return." Tony said calling Charmander back to its ball. "Pikachu its up to you!" He said calling out Pikachu again. "Pikachu quick attack, Then Iron tail" Tony yelled. Onix look out!" Brock said knowing what was comming. Pikachu used his speed he hit Onix with quick attack. Then,with his tail glowing he hit Onix with Iron tail knockig it out.

After all the pokemon where returned to there pokeballs Brock handed Tony the boulder badge. "Great job."Brock said smiling. " its was all thanks to Pikachu and Charmander." With that said Tony left for the next town.

"Hello brock. I'd like to challenge your gym"
"All right, 2 vs 2 double battle, right?"
"thats right, go Beedrill, charmander!"
"Go, onix, geodude!"
"Beedrill, use focus energy! Charmander, Ember geodude!"
"Onix, use rock tomb on charmander, geodude, rock throw on beedrill."
"charmander, dodge rock tomb, beedrill, use harden to brace yourself!"
charmander jumped bakcwards and shot ember at geodude. it wasnt very effective, but did decent damage. beedrill used focus energy and started to glow red, then it hardened and the rocks bounced off of it like pebbles. few actually registerred damage.

"Beedrill use fury attack on onix! Charmander another ember at geodude!"
"Geodude, harden. Onix, Rock tomb beedrill."
Beedrill's fury attack hit onix, and hard becuase of focus energy. it hit 4 times, 2 of which were critical hits. Onix then retaliated with rock tomb and beedrill was pummeled because of the little time it had to react. Beedrill almost fainted, but it was able to hang on. Charmander used ember and registered the same amount of damage on the hardened geodude since ember was a special attack, not physical.geodude was burned and hurt by it.

"Onix, use dig. Geodude, rock throw beedrill, let finish it off!"
"Beedrill, use fury attack at geodude! Charmander, use ember!"
Geodude, being the slower pokemon was hit by both fury attack and ember before it managed to rock throw and it fainted. Onix dug underground for the turn, ready to spring up.

"Onix, come up under charmander!"
"Charmander, jump on beedrill and use ember at onix, beedrill, use fury attack on onix once it comes up!"
Becuase charmander jumped on beedrills head onix came up and hit beedrill, but left charmander unharmed. Beedrill fainted but onix wasnt ready for a hit and charmander embered a critical hit on it. Onix shook off the not-very-effective ember, ready for its next order.
charmander can now use the move METAL CLAW

"perfect, thats super effective! now charmander, metal claw on onix!"
"Onix use rock tomb!"
Charmander's metal claw hit and onix fainted from the super effective blow.

Charmander grew to level 17 and learned Dragon Rage in place of growl (it got all the exp seeing as Beedrill fainted)

Charmander evolved into charmeleon!

"Wow, i had the type advantage and lost, you're good. Take this BOULDER BADGE."
Brock and Shadow shook hands and brock wished shadow luck in becoming the Kanto league champion

"Oh, on last thing shadow, you should stop at the museum, you might find it interesting"

me: (opening the door) I'm challaging gym Leader!
Pikachu: (smiles) Pika
Brock: (crossing his arms) hmm.. you got the challage
me: alright, go, Pikachu!
Pikachu: (runs to arena) Pika!
Brock: (sigh) a eletricty pokemon? (throw pokeball) go, Geoude!
Geodude: (pumped his arms) Geo!
me: a geodude? (reach his pokedex)
Pokedex: (beeping) geodude is ground and rock pokemon and can carry 10 tons of rock boulder
me: alright, Pikachu, Quick attack now!
Pikachu: (running faster toward geodude) Pika! Pi! PI!

Brock: Geodude, Harden now!
Pikchu: (hit Geodude but nothing damges) Pika?
Brock: Rock throw now!

me: Pikachu, Dodge it!
Pikachu: (dodged it and the rock s hit the ceiling and broke the pipes)
me: Pikachu: Iron Tail now!
Pikachu: Pika! (used Iron Tail on Geodude)
Geodude: (hit and sent to the wall and faints) Geo...
Brock: (smiles) very impress.. Go, Onix!
Onix: (roaring)
