Maria returned Night to his pokeball and looked around as she entered the caves. A Psyduck appeared and she asked Pika to use a Thunder on it, sending the yellow duck away to lick its wounds. She tried her hardest not to slip into the water, ready to pull out Night at any moment. After going through a series of ladders and mazes she came to the exit. She sighed relief and walked out of the caves.

Hiro was riding on the back of his blastoise and by the island group called seafoam. With Blastoise on his team, he would easily defeat Blaine on the Cinnabar gym.

Bek was riding on Rex, her Charizard. They easily flew through the caves.
