Yet another grassy Route, this one a bit shorter. Not much else on it. Pokemon on Routes 30/31: Ledyba, Spinarak, Weedle, Caterpie, Pidgey, Hoothoot, Rattata.

Adam walked into the route and his pokedex said "Route 31, links to Violet City, A lot of wild pokemon are found on this route" Adam nodded slowly this time and returned his pokemon and began running through the route. He tripped over a overgrown tree route and smashed to the floor breaking his pokedex screen clean in two. "d**n!" Adam shouted scaring bird pokemon from the canopies above. Then a rattata ran infront of Adam with his front teeth sticking out. Adam jumped to his feet and let Gyro out. "Go Gyro get that thing!" Adam shouted as with out his pokedex he didnt know what it was. "Use Tackle!" Gyro hit the rattata launching it backwards into a tree "Go Pokeball!" Adam said
Nothing "Yeah! I dunno what I caught" Laughed nickname his small pink rat Fang then Gyro began to look as if in a trance so Adam returned him and the team and went to Violet City holding his smashed pokedex in his hands.
