Lt. Surge is leader here, is he loves to set challenges for Trainers. His gym is full of buckets, and you have to find 2 switches!
If you manage it, he is still very powerful. Watch out for Shock Wave, which never ever misses!

Maria walked in through the doors of the Vermillion City Gym. She Avoided the trainters as much as possible. She found her way through the leader's maze and stood, facing him.
"I'm here for a battle Lieutenant." Maria said to him with Eevee on her shoulder, Chardar at her side and Ace in his pokeball.
He looked up, "All right then little missy!" He took out a pokeball and tossed it, "Pokaball go!" It landed, sending a voltorb out.
"Alright Eve, your up." She said to him. He jumped from her shoulder and onto the ground, fur sticking up, snarling.
"Alright, let's see what you've got!" He said, "Use Thundabolt!"
Voltorb sent sparks flying through the air at Eve.
"Dodge and use double team, followed by quick attack!" Maria said. Eve dodged the bolt and charged at voltorb, hitting it and sending it rolling away.
"Alright, use sonic boom voltorb!" Surge said to it. Voltorb used sonicboom while Eve was recovering from the last attack.
"Hang in there Eve!" Maria shouted to him as he sprang back onto his paws. "Use body slam!!" Eve tackled the voltorb and landed a critical hit, making it feint.
"Voltorb return!" The Lieutenant said, calling back his pokemon. He threw another pokeball and a Pikachu came out in a flash of red light.
"You up for another round Eve?" Maria called to him. "Eve!" He called, glaring at pikachu. "Alright then, use return!" Eve charged at the pikachu and slamed into it hard.
"Pikachu, Thundabolt!" Surge called to it while Eve was still close. Pikachu hit Eve with a strong attack, sending him flying back and falling to the floor.
"Eve, are you alright?" Maria asked him. He stood up, slowly and then jerked his head up, nodding to her. She nodded her head once, agreeing. "Alright, use a quick attack body slam!" She called. Eve charged with all the speed of a quick attack, landing with all the power of a body slam. Pikachu stumbled backwards.
"DoubleTeam Pikachu, then use quick attack!" Surge called. Pikachu caught up to speed with Eve using DoubleTeam, then tackled Eve to the floor with Quick Attack. "Now use Thundabolt..." Surge called to it with a smile. Pikachu shocked Eve with the electric attack and moved away from the fox pokemon.
Eve stood up shakily, "Come back Eve, I'm not going to make you fight like that! Chardar can take over!" Eve looked their way and Chardar gave him a thumbs up and a grin. Eve nodded, bounding back to her, leaping into her arms. "Alright then, you know what to do Chardar." He nodded once, snorted and walked out onto the arena.
"A Charmeleon eh?" Surge said, "Alright let's go Pikachu! Thundabolt!" The tired out pikachu shot a electric bolt at the Charmeleon, landing a blow but not doing much damage.
"Alright Charmeleon let's use a Flamethrower..." She said calmly. Chardar's eyes glinted as he released a steady stream of flames, hitting pikachu and making him feint.
Surge looked at her, shocked, "Your Charmeleon's good..." He recalled Pikachu and sent out a Raichu. "Alright Raichu use Thunderbolt! Raichu attacked Chardar with the thunder attack, doing quite a bit of damage.
"Alright Chardar let's use flamethrower and then metal claw!!" Maria called to him. Chardar threw a stream of flame at the Raichu. While it shook it off he charged and attacked with metal claw, doing some serious damage.
"Raichu use Thunda!" Surge called to him. Raichu charged up another attack.
"Alright Chardar, while it's charging use that special attack we worked on!" Maria called to him. He grinned and nodded, he looked down and clawed at the floor with his claws, digging a hole and dissapearing underground.
Surge looked at the ground, slightly panicked. "Raichu watch out!" Surge called. Raichu looked around, frightned.
"NOW CHARDAR!" Maria called to him. Chardar bursted through the ground, throwing Raichu into the air. "Use Fury Flaming Metal Claw!" Maria said. Chardar charged up a metal claw attack and slashed while sending a flamethrower onto Raichu. It fell to the ground, feinted.

Maria shook hands with Surge, "That was great. I've never seen so much skill in such a young trainer..." He reached inside his pocket, "You've earned it, a Thunda Badge..."

Aaron strode to the Gym, his eyes blazing with determination. Blazer wordlessly followed Aaron, his tail unusually burning blue, the flames hot with passion. Aaron's grim expression was shown as he walked towards the Gym. It was covered in electric currents, with neon-lighted words, 'The Vermillion Gym.' Surge had spent a lot of time decorating and revamping after he had been released from his army time.
Aaron strode into the gym, where Lieutenant Surge was sipping a Surge Drink, one of the famous spirit drinks in Vermillion. Aaron approached Surge and declared, "Surge, I will battle you. Now." Surge stopped sipping, gulped the rest of the drink down, and threw the cup away, the glass shattering. "Whoda ya think ya are, mista? This is my gym, and I'll tellya when I'm ready." Surge waited for a few seconds, looking up and looking down. "I'm ready, young boy."
Surge released Voltorb, while Aaron flicked Tank's ball out. Tank jumped out, his spikes sticking straight up. "Tank, use Earthstomp!" Tank used a powerful ground move, knocking out Voltorb instantaneously. "How... how'd that happen?" Surge said incredulously, his eyes bulging in amazement. "I did my research, Lt. Grounds types can own electrics really quickly."
Surge growled as he released Pikachu. "Pikachu," he mumbled, "Dodge the Ground moves. Pikachu jumped up onto an electric mound. Tank jumped onto one, only to be electrocuted off. "Geez," Aaron said, eyes flaming. "Tank, use Poison Fang!" Tank jumped up and bit Pikachu in mid-air, pulling Pikachu down. "Use Earthsto-" "-Use Quick Attack, Pikachu!" yelled Surge. Aaron laughed as Pikachu charged towards Tank, only to get poisoned by the spikes and horns, which had deadly poison. Pikachu grew queasy, and started to have poison spread all over it's body. Tank snorted as it used Earthstomp to finish off the poor creature.
"How..." said Surge. He quickly regained composure and yelled, "Go Raichu!" Raichu jumped out from behind Surge and used a Thunderbolt. Nidorino got zapped, and looked frizzled enough to be a surge protector. "Return, Nidorino!" Aaron called. "Go Blazer!" Blazer jumped from the side of Aaron and charged up his Flame Swipe. Raichu stored up energy... Blazer stored up energy... Blazer and Raichu unleashed their power at the same time!! Who would be stronger? Raichu's full-power, exhausting shock flew at Blazer, who jumped into it. Blazer used all his energy and swiped through the electric move, resulting in fatigue of both Pokemon. "Return, Blazer!" yelled Aaron, who switched him out with Twitch's Pokeball.
"Sorry Surge," Aaron taunted, "But you don't have any Pokemon left besides your fatigued Raichu." Aaron let out Twitch, who was bouncy and eager to battle. "Twitch," Aaron called, "Use Slam!" Twitch used Slam, resulting in an immediate knock-out of Raichu...

Aaron walked out of the Gym with a new Thunder Badge. As he walked he spotted a girl with a Pallet Town Lab Patch on her jacket. He rushed up to her. "Hi? Are you Maria?"

Well, bobdat, first of all, I think mine is okay, because I'm the second trainer to fight Surge. However, it might be a good idea if you had to play the gym leaders and determined by the RP quality whether or not the trainer(s) win, or if they have to try again. That will make it so less people will win, as well as improve below standard RPers.

Harry entered the gym, Nidoran at his side. Harry caught Surge's eye and marched straight over.
"Ready for a challenge?" Harry said, backed up by Nidoran.
Surge smiled. "All the time. Go, Voltorb!" He said, and his Voltorb appeared.
Harry grinned. "It's time, Nidoran!"
"Nidoran, open with Horn Attack!" Harry called, and Nidoran did just that, catching Voltorb a nasty blow.
Surge called "Voltorb, Thundershock!"
The shock hit Nidoran directly, but Nidoran could ground it easily! He shook off the shock and ran towards Voltorb.
"Nidoran, Quick Attack, then Poison Sting!" Harry said, and Nidoran smashed into Voltorb using it's speed, the shot a poisonous barrage of spikes at it. It was too much for Voltorb, already mentally hurt by Nidoran's ability not to be hurt, and it fainted.
Harry cheered. "Way to go Nidoran!" Nidoran wasn't listening. He was glowing white. His body changed, he got bigger, longer horns. When the light faded, Harry smiled.
"Nidorino!" Nidorino said in a deep growl.
Harry grinned. "Let's finish this!"
Surge sent out Pikachu and Raichu, for a Double Match.
Harry grabbed Bulbasaur's ball off his belt. "Time to go Bulbasaur!"
"Bulbasaur, Leech Seed. Nidorino, let's see a powered up Tackle then Horn Attack!"
Bulbasaur launched the seeds at Pikachu and Riachu, hitting Riachu. Pikachu dodged, right into the path of the charging Nidorino.
Pikachu was knocked back, rolling into the stadium wall. The Leech Seed attack took it's toll on Riachu.
Nidorino followed through with Horn Attack, hitting the helpless Pikachu easily. Pikachu was not out yet, and it got back up.
Harry decided on another combo. "OK, Nidorino, use Poison Sting on Riachu. Bulbasaur, Razor Leaf on the Stings."
Nidorino sent the poisonous spikes straight at Riachu, and Bulbasaur's leaves hit them, sending a high-power Poison Leaf combo charging straight at Riachu. It dodged the worst of it, but became Poisoned.
Leech seed hurt Riachu again, and the Poison was weakening it by the second.
Surge pointed at Bulbasaur. "Pikachu and Riachu, both use Thunder on Bulbasaur, and magnify each other's power!"
The tow electric Pokemon send out bolts of electricity, and the combined, sending a terrifying bolt straight at Bulbasaur. Nidorino instinctively jumped in the way, and grounded the blast, leaving Bulbasaur unhurt. But Nidorino had felt the force of the blast and was really tired.
Harry withdrew him ."Great battling."
"OK, let's go, Voltorb!" He said, sending out the baby Pokemon. Surge laughed.
"A baby Pokemon! You got no hope!"
Harry smiled. "OK, Bulbasaur, Razor Leaf Pikachu."
The leaves hit their mark, leaving the under-powered Pikachu KOed.
Harry grinned. "Now for the final blast. Bulbasaur, use your Vines to swing up in the air, and use Razor Leaf. Voltorb, EXPLOSION!"
Voltorb glowed Yellow.
Bulbasaur did as he was asked, and swung up into the air, and used Razor Leaf, knocking Riachu back.
In the same instant, Voltorb exploded, sending a massive blast straight into Raichu, and hitting Bulbasaur, but not badly.
When the smoke cleared, Voltorb was KOed, and so was Raichu. Bulbasaur was stood on the edge of the crater, panting heavily, but still up and running.
Surge walked over to Harry. "Great battling. I never thought a baby Voltorb could be so powerful. Take this."
He handed Harry the Thunder Badge. Harry stuck it onto his trainer card.
Harry withdrew Voltorb and Bulbasaur. "Thanks Lieutenant." He said, heading towards the Pokemon Center.

Walking into the Electric gym which had trainers coming out with a sad face.
Surge:" Hmph well better luck next time kid, maybe you should try evolve youre pokemon."
Bakaryu thought to himself no wonder the people around here only think of evolution.
Baka:" Hey kind sir may I challenge you to a gym battle."
Surge:" Ok, whatever you want kid please don't cry when I beat you."
Baka:" Ok, please go easy on me."
Surge:" Lets go Voltorb."
Baka:" Alright you're turn Moboar show um how it's done."
Surge:" Go use tackle voltorb."
Mankey:" Use low kick."
Mankey's Low kick sent the oncoming speeding voltorb flying back at Surge."
Surge:" Well what do you know someone who auctully passed voltorb without a sweat, return. Now go pikachu."
Baka:" Hey Moboar think you can handle another one."
Moboar:" Mankeeeee."
Surge:" Charge pikachu then give him a thundershock."
Baka:" Ok, Moboar use karate chop."
Moboar had managed to attack Pikachu succesfully, but inturn got hit with a super charged thundershock and fainted."
Baka:" Moboar return, lets go Thatchi."
Thatchi:" Oddish."
Surge:" Pikachu use charge."
Baka:" Thatchi absorb that energy pikachu is gathering up."
Bakaryu's plan worked succefully and from lack of energy pikachu fainted.
Surge:" Hmmph, now you will see true power with my Evolved Raichu, Raichu use slam."
"Thatchi dodge then use absorb."said Baka.
Raichu attack had landed but not completely hitting oddish. Oddish hit also landed but after oddish used the attack she collapsed.
Baka:" Alright, return Thatchi, lets go Cow bell."
Surge:" Raichu use Slam."
Baka:" Cowbell catch him in the middle of his fall and throw him with vinewhip."
Barely being able to catch the massive raichu, Cowbell threw the overweight pokemon making it faint.
Surge:".....What how could this be, Raichu lost to a bellsprout, hmmmph well nice job kid, take this badge as proof of victory."
Baka:" Thank You sir for the battle."

Gabriel walked into the gym.
"Looks like this one will be tough" he said.
Gabe went up to surge.
"Surge I challenge you to a 3 on 3." he said.
"Boy, don't be giving me any orders!" he demanded.
Gabe got a bit scared.
"Err....Ok." he whispered.
"Speak up son!" said Surge.
"Dude, lets just battle!"demanded Gabe.
"Fine!" said Surge.
"Pikachu,Riachu, I choose you!" he said as he threw the two Pokeballs in the air.
"Hmm..Go Charmeleon and Pidgeotto!"
The two came out.
"Pikachu, Riachu, use thunder!" said Surge.
"Hmm...Pidgeotto use gust! Charmeleon use flamethrower on Pidgeotto's gust to create a fire storm!"
A fire storm was made.
Both of the thunders we're now inside of the fire storm.
"Great job you two" said Gabe.
"Pikachu use shock wave on Charmeleon!" said Surge,
"Richou! Use thundershock on Pidgeotto!"
Pidgeotto was able to dodge the thundershock,
but Charmeleon on the other hand was hit by the super fast shock wave.
"Crap!" yelled Gabe.
Charmeleon was still Ok. and so was Pidgeotto.
The fire storm was still there.
"Hmph! Use flamethrower to drive the fire storm towards Richou and Pikachu" said Gabe.
"Pidgeotto you use sand attack on Richou"
Richou had sand in his eyes, making it hard for him to see.
Charmeleon's flmaethrower sent the fire storm towards Richou.
But Pikachu on the other hand, dodged it by running around it.
Richou was now caught in the middle of the fire storm.
"Hmph....return Richou." said surge.
"Now, go voltorb!" he said.
"Voltorb use thunder wave on Pidgeotto!" said Surge.
The thunder wave was headed towards Pidgeotto, but then Charmeleon got in the way.
"Charmeleon!" yelled Gabe.
"Pidgeot!" said Pidgeotto.
Pidgeotto looked over at Charmeleon.
Then he looked at voltorb.
"Hahahaha!" laughed Surge.
"Pidgeotto use whirlwind!" said Gabe.
Voltorb went flying towards a wall.
"Pikachu use thunder on Pidgeotto!" said Surge.
This time it hit Pidgeotto, leaving it fainted.
"You deserve a rest Pidgeotto" said Gabe.
"Return!"
"Ok, now go Dratini!" said Gabe as he released his new partner.
Charmeleon had lost its paralisis.
"Ok, Dratini use twister!"
Dratini whiped up a powerful twister.
"Charmeleon use flamethrower on Pikachu." said Gabe
The flamethrower hit Pikachu and after the twister had hit it.
Leaving Pikachu unconcious.
"Pikachu return!" said Surge.
Voltorb remained.
He was still on the ground.
It got up a bit later.
"Voltorb selfdestruct!" said Surge.
Voltorb broke all of the windows of the gym.
After the smoke was gone, Charmeleon was still standing.
Dratini had fainted.
"Wow, that was some selfdestruct" said Gabe.
"Charmeleon, Dratini, reutrn" said Gabe as his Pokemon were sucked back into the Pokeball.
"Well, kid you've earned it. Here, take this thunder badge." said Surge as he shook Gabe's hand.
"Yessss! I got a thunder badge!!!!!" yelled Gabe.
He then left.
"Bye Surge!"
Gabriel waved at Surge.

Barbie walked in she caled earlier notify shes ready to battle" Lets start this oddish!" Oddish came out as ready as ever.
Lt. Surge threw a pokeball releasing voltorb"Voltorb gyro ball!" Voltorb came spinning to oddish.
"Use grass knot to trip it then mega drain it." A vine infront of the spinning voltorb grew out of the ground and tripped voltorb, oddish jumped on voltorb then used mega drain.
"Urgghh. I aint losing to some pipsquek pokemon. explosion voltorb" Voltorb exploded fainting both oddish and voltorb."Go pikachu!" His pikachu came out.
"Nidorina go beat beat up that pikachu." Her nidorina came out."Ice beam!"Nidorina blasted a ice beam at pikachu
"Thundershock" Nidorina got shocked while pikachu got frozen completly."Oh no pikachu is a pikacicle."
"Lets wrap this up with shadow claw to break the ice then pummel it with sludge bomb!" Nidorina ran towards the frozen pikachu and broke the ice with shadow claw then blasted sludge bombs from its mouth at pikachu. Pikachu was sent back all the way to the wall and fainted.
"Urgh. This fght isnt over. Go raichu!" His raichu came out with a big grin."Thunder!"
"Use sludge bomb!" Raichu got hit by the sludge bombs and got poisond while nidorina got shocked by the thunder and fainted."Go Jigglypuf! Use blizzard" Jigglypuff used blizzard which blew raichu to the wall."Now beat Raichu with shadow ball!" Jigglypuff threw a shadow ball at Raichu before he got up from the last attack.Raichu fainted.
"Raichu no. Return. Heres your badge, a good fight." He returned raichu and gave a barbie her badge.
"Of course it was good. It was from me. Come jigglypuuf lets go." Barbie and jigglypuff walked out.

Seth walked into the gym. He avoided the trainers, and got to Lt.Surge. "Lieutenant, I want a three on three battle." " okay, you're on. Go Pikachu, Voltorb!' " Go, Geodude and Charmeleon!" " Charmeleon, use ember, and Geodude, use Magnitude, but use it right under Charmeleon so he isn't effected by it!" The ember hit Voltorb, and Charmeleon jumped on Geodude. The magnitude hit Pikachu, but just before it hit Voltorb, Lt.Surge said, " Voltorb, use Explosion!" The attack hit Pikachu and Charmeleon squarely, but it bounced right off Geodude. So, after that Voltorb was the only one down. " Return, Voltorb, and go Raichu!" " Charmeleon, use ember on Pikachu, and Geodude hit Pikachu with rock throw!" Charmeleon used ember and hit Pikachu, then Geodude picked pieces of earth and hit pikachu, and it was down. " Return, Pikachu. Raichu, use charge, then shock wave!" The attack hit Charmeleon hard, and he was down," Return, Charmeleon, and go Abra!" Abra, use mimic, use Voltorb's Explosion!" Before the attack happened, Abra glowed differenly than a explosion glow, and Seth realized he was evolving into a Kadabra! Then Kadabra glowed again and exploded, leaving Raichu and Kadabra knocked out, however Geodude was still up and at 'em. " Return, Kadabra and Geodude." " Return, Raichu. Well,Seth, I guess you've earned this badge." Seth accepted the badge and left to go to the Pokemon Center.

Tony entered the gym and walked strait to Lt. Surge. "Well let me guess kid, You want to battle?" Tony nodded. "3v3 okay." He asked. "Tony again nodded. Surge sent out his Pikachu and Raichu and Tony used Charmander and Pikachu. "Pikachu Spark, Charmander Fire Fang!." Charmander hit Raichu with Fire Fand and Pikachu hit Pikachu with Spike. "Raichu, Pikachu uses Shock Wave!" Charmander got hit hard and pikachu didn't do too well either. Charmander, Fire Fang! Pikachu Iron tail!." the two hit Surge's pokemon and knockem both out. Go! Voltorb!." Surge said calling out his last pokemon. "Charmander Fire Fang! Pikachu Iron Tail." The two together would knock out Surges Voltorb, But..."{color=yellow]Voltorb Explosion![/color]" All pokemon where knocked out. But since Tony still had one pokemon left, He won. Surge handed Tony his badge and Tony left for the next battle. "Thanks Surge."
