Vermilion City

With little fanfare, Meaghan and her team reached Vermillion City, stopping for a quick rest at the Pokemon Center before finding a map and deciding their next move. "Oh, there an unofficial gym here. Wanna give it a try?" She asked of her team, who were quite enthusiastic in the idea. "Alright then, let's go check it out."

Richie had finally made it to vermillion city the first thing he did was heal his pokemon then he went into the pokemart and bought a fishing rod. He went fishing for a few hours and then a Krabby appeared ok go Abra he said. Abra use physic it took a lot out of the pokemon it used crabhammer which did little damage. Richie then said "use faint attck." Abra easily hit the pokemon now pokeball go he caught the pokemon after 3 tries. He weent to change the pokemon in his pc and in his party before entering the gym.

Richie went to heal his team and then went to Go on his way to celadon city. Before that he caugt a gyrados while fishing.

Samatha walked out of the gym and healed her pokemon. Then she took a small rest. Ocean sighed. She went to the market and boutht a potion, paralyze heal, fishing rod and a few new pokeballs. She picked up her Wartortle and headed for the next city.

Dale walked ino the huge city, Burny gripping onto his shoulder. He ran straight to the Pokemon center.
Nurse Joy: Oh my, these 3 pokemon are servirely injujred, not like most pokemon can do. Did you encounter team rocket?
Dale: Yes.
After waiting in the pokemon center nurse joy came and gave hi mbad news.
Nurse joy: I'm afraid I have to keep these pokemon for a while, you should go,i'll call you back when it's time to collect them.
Dale: Well, i'm not going for a badge then. I guess i'll have to train Abra.

[dale]

Dale returned to town ready for a good battle, and hopeing that nursejoy will have his pokemon well again. He walked into the pokemon center, nurse joy standing there, looking quite pleased.
Dale: Are, they.... Ok?
Nurse Joy: Yes, but i woudn't make them battle for a while, they are still quite weak.
Dale: Don't worry, I wont.

Dale walked throught the town with Ratticate, Horn head and Burny.
Dale: None of you can battle for a while, you are still all to weak.
They all agreed not to battle, but they were not happy about it.
They walked to the gym, Dale had chosen his team he would request a 3 on 3, he had most chance of winning that way. It would go:
Abra, Beedrill then zubat.
He was worried about Zubat who would be weak to electricity but he couldn't ask any of his other pokemon to battle, execpt for Pucks. Yes he would do that, he ran to the nearest video phone and called proffessor Oak.
Dale: Hi proffesor, I really need to get one of my pokemon out, i want to swap Pucks for a zubat.
Oak: Who's pucks?
Dale: The purple Pikachu.
Oak: Sure, please insert the Zubat.
Dale did so and after a few minuits had pucks back.

Richie got off dragonite and entered the gym.

[Hiro Fenrir]

As he was waiting for the chapionships at the Indigo Plateau to start, Hiro finally decided to go to the Sevii Islands for some training. He went to the dock in Vermillion and jumped on the first ferry who arrived

Dale walked out of the town, he went over to a phone.

After a few mins of talking Dale had a ferry booked to Chrono Island.

[Kathy]

As they exited the underground path, a new city greeted them. The salty smell and grand port was a nice place to continue a journey. Both headed for the Pokemon Center first and Kathy switched the Pokemon Highlight with Dragoon and healed her Pokemon.

Kathy wanted to explore the Diglett's Cave first, so that was their start. "Alright! I'll try to catch a Diglett too! I just can't wait!!" John shook his head, "Okay,okay, we know..." They were at the entrance and Kathy was making sure they all have everything they needed.

They entered the cave to find it an easy one. They followed the trail and soon ended to find the exit. The sun shined as they stumbled out of the cave."Man that was hot!! Can't believe you can survive that," John whined. Kathy ignored him and continued on. A house was placed nearby, but Kathy wanted to explore more. It didn't take them long to find a nice place to rest.

It didn't contain much, but the refreshing air whisted pass them. A man in a lab coat walked up to them, "Hello there! How is it? A nice sunny day huh?" Kathy eyed him, "And you are," The man looked at her then at John, then back, "Well, I'm the most perfect aside! Pro. Oak sent me to give you the HM Flash. Some kid named John just called awhile ago," he held up a CD like item, "Here it is, Pro. Oak said that you need this to get through Rock Tunnel," he handed it to Kathy and winked, "Well, gotta go now!" and he disappear out the other end. Kathy heard a Fearow cry out and the flap of it's wings.

"Wow, the HM Flash!" John exclaimed when he took hold of it. Kathy glanced at him, "Here, let me hold it," she took it from him, "We'd better get going and both ran down the path.

Back in Diglett's cave, Kathy ran into a Diglett. She wanted to capture the mole like Pokemon and is in one of her most hardest ones, "Diamond, Tackle!!" the Diglett easily dodged and used Dig. Diamond too dodged and aimed a Quick Attack which hit, leaving it fainted. "Go, PokeBall!!" CLINK CLINK CLINK then it stopped. After watching the ball disappear, the headed back to Vermilion.

Back at Vermilion, Kathy didn't go to the Center, instead...she headed to the Pokemon Fan Club. The chairman was very nice, "I love the beauty of Rapidash...that's mine. Oh, if you don't mind, IO have a little something for you," he handed her a St.Anne ticket and a Bike Voucher after their long talk, "Goodies for you, now...run along now," Kathy thanked him and left the Fan Club.

The salty air filled in again as the sight of the Vermilion Port came to view and the St.Anne, "A cruise ship! What a day! Come on, we gotta hurry, I can't wait!!" John exclaimed as they passed the crowds. Kathy rolled her eyes, "Can't you give me time? The ship isn't leaving for another hour," John frowned and ran ahead, "Catch me then!!" Then Kathy chased John for while until she was sure she spotted the St.Anne.

Kathy was about to step up to a sailor when she suddenly didn't feel like going on yet. She headed for the PokeMart and bought a shiny Good Rod. Using the Good Rod, she found a Krabby.

It lives in burrows dug on sandy beaches. Its pincers fully grow back if they are broken in battle.

"Go Dragoon!!" She released Dragoon into the battlefield, "Bubble!!" Dragoon starting aimed a few bubbles at Krabby, but it didn't do much. It attacked back with a Vice Grip, "Dodge and use Smokescreen!" Dragoon barely dodged the Vice Grip and filled the air with smoke. Kathy could see the Krabby was having trouble, "Dragoon, let's finish this off, Bubble!" As quickly as possible, Dragoon released powerful bubbles at Krabby, and fainted it. "Go PokeBall!" CLINK CLINK CLINK then it stopped. The ball soon disappear like all of the others, "Alright! Nice job Dragoon!!" Kathy smiled at Dragoon as she returned it to it's ball, "Come on, we'll just stay here for the night...then we'll leave tomorrow." John nodded and pointed to a hotel, "How 'bout that one?" Kathy gave him a nod and both headed for the door, relaxed.

The next morning, Kathy was up and ready to start the day. She ate breakfast at the hotel and took a walk near the shores alone with Diamond and Bolt at her side. It was quiet in the morning and Kathy liked that. Kathy sat down to rest a little and enjoy the breeze. Bolt sat down beside her and was biting the air and Diamond, who found a seashell, was bouncing around, playing with it. Kathy smiled took out her items, "Maybe I should start using them more often..." she looked through all and finally put them back when she was ready to go. She picked up Diamond and gester for Bolt to follow.

After a few more blocks, she stopped at the Vermilion Gym. It was huge, like the other two gyms and a boy was sitting in a corner. Kathy glanced at Bolt and moved closer to the boy. The boy, who wore ragged clothes looked up with his gray eyes. His expression was long and wary. He has dark brown hair with a tint of gray. He's bony and dirty. Kathy didn't like the feeling but walked up to him anyway, "Hello, what are you doing h- Yuck!! What is that smell!!" Then a Grimer appeared behind the wall, "Erm, what a smell..." Kathy looked at the boy then at the Grimer. The boy stood up, "Sorry about that, my name is Jack and this is my Grimer." He smiled sourly and straiten his spiky hair. Kathy tried to give him a smile back. She glanced at Grimer and took out her Dex

It was born when sludge in a dirty stream was exposed to the moon's X-rays. It appears among filth.

"Grimer huh?" Jack nodded, "You want a battle?" Kathy gave him an unsure look but agreed, "Okay, let's battle!"

They found a small clearing to battle. Kathy could see the sky darkening and the sun being chased by the stormy clouds. Jack smiled, "Well, this battle is gonna be interesting!" Kathy nervously looked at Bolt to see if it wanted to battle. Bolt nodded and ran up to the battlefield. "Pika!" Jack gave a smile, "Very interesting..." Grimer stepped up to the battlefield.

"Bolt, Thunder Shock!!" Bolt aimed a Thunder Shock at Grimer and made a hit. "Grimer, Sludge Bomb!" Grimer began shooting sludge at Bolt, "Look out Bolt!!" Bolt quickly dodge and aimed another Thunder Shock. It missed and Grimer used Tackle. It hit but Bolt was back up, "Quick Attack!!" And with a Quick Attack, Grimer fainted. Kathy gave Bolt a friendly pet as it hopped into her arms, "You were great!" Kathy turned back to Jack, but he was gone. Then, water started dripping on Kathy and Bolt, along with Diamond, who she later returned. Then it poured.

Kathy and Bolt were running along the shore, soaked in the rain. Both manage to find a store open nearby and dashed in.

The shop had a weird mint smell. The shop had mostly mechanics and a few Pokemon items. The large windows were clean and the items were in the right place.A man,Kathy could see a bit,was reading a newspaper behind the counter, and like he could see throuwgh things, "Hello there," he said without moving his paper, "ho may I help you?" Kathy just glared at the man, "Uhh..well...the rain...and..." the man cut in, "Oh yes,the rain. Come, sit down," his finger poked out from behind the newspaper to a few chairs east of the store. Kathy hesitated, then sat down. The seat was soft leather and somewhat high. The man finally put down his paper, "Well, what a surprise, a young lady came in because of the rain...again." Kathy looked shocked, "Uhh...again?" The man then explained last week about a storm everyday. Kathy listened to half of it, "So..." when he finally finished, "what do you sell here?" The man gave her a stunned look, what do you think? Look around you." There was lots of things, but the one that caught her eye was the blue device. "What's that?" Kathy asked pointing to the Battle Searcher. The man looked impressed for some reason, "It's a Battle Searcher, if you want to battle anybody, use that so nearby people can know." Kathy stood up and took hold of it. It was cool when she though about it, "I'll take...buy this," she went over to the man and placed it on the counter. And with a split second, he checked out the item, "2000 please," Kathy counted her PokeDollars and handed it to the man, "Here you go sir." He hasty took it and placed Kathy's ordered item into a paper bag, "Here you go young lady, pleased to do biz with you!"

When the sun came out again, Kathy headed back to the hotel. John just woke up and chomped down his breakfast. "What!? You went without me! I shoulda known," he said after Kathy finished the story. "Aw come on, it wasn't that much of a morning," They talked for awhile until Kathy mention the St.Anne, "Okay, let's go!" Kathy frowned, "No,no,no...we go to the gym first!" John gave her a lazy gaze, "Alright..."

The gym was located in the South end of the city, and the most brightest...well, to Kathy. They got ready to enter for their 3rd badge.

After beating Lt.Surge, Kathy rushed to the Center first. John was waiting "patiently", "That was some battle, I was waiting here an hour!!" Kathy frowned, "I'm gonna heal first, then you can start whining..." Then, when nighttime took over, they found a hotel and stayed for the night.

Early in the morning, John was rapidly eating his breakfast and Kathy was admiring her Thunder Badge, "Hurry John, I really want to go on!" John frowned, "Give me time...I'm hungry!!"

"Come on, there," she said point to the path near Diglett's Cave, "Let's start...continue there."
