*Yeah sorry about taking so bloody long, I have summer school work....
Maria thought a moment, "Night use a surf attack on Rhydon." Hopefully a type advantage would do more damage since Night was at a lower level.
*BTW I am REALLY off lately so if you can think of anything go for it - you're allowed to God-mod my charries if you need to in your posts.

OCC: God-mode... like this?
Aaron was amazed at Maria's quick and clever thinking. The earthy cracks were soon filled with water, and the water level rose. Blaster jumped off Night and swam towards Rhydon. Blaster used a quick Rapid Spin, but Rhydon dodged the attack. Rhydon was hit by a huge tidal wave, and lost his balance and focus, also taking a good amount of damage.
"Great," Aaron said, "Blaster, use a focused Bubblebeam!" Blaster nodded and spouted water from his mouth, shooting it towards Rhydon. Rhydon roared before being smashed by Night, who's long body smoothly smacked the rhino-like Pokemon. Rhydon quickly used a lucky Mega Punch and smacked Blaster into a wall, before falling unconscious. Blaster panted as he slowly got up. The water level soon drained, and Rhydon was found completely KOed.
"Rhydon unable to battle. Maria and Aaron win this round!"
"Maria," Aaron said, "Cassie's going to probably let go two strong Pokemon. We have to watch, because Blaster's slightly grimacing."
Cassie reached for two Pokeballs and hurled them, releasing a large Nidoking and a steely-looking Dugtrio. "Dug!" "King king!" Blaster scoffed and looked into Night's deep eyes. Night nodded and a small smile curled into the Dragonair's lips. Aaron and Maria both nodded to each other and smiled. "Night, use Wrap around Nidoking!" "Blaster, let's play Whack-A-Mole with Dugtrio! Use a Water Gun on the middle one!" The battle ensued.
"Dugtrio, use Dig!" Blaster landed softly, but missed the buried Pokemon. Blaster looked around, anxious and on his watch for a underground attack.
Night had better luck, and squeezed Nidoking. The large Pokemon looked like he was struggling, and was trying to undo the tight bond. Blaster jumped towards Night and aimed a Punch at Nidoking, hitting him right in the face. Nidoking roared and used an Earhquake, sending Night off and away, while Blaster landed right on Dugtrio's planned attack. Blaster fell limp.
"Aaron's Wartortle is down! Please release your next and last Pokemon, Mr. Nightshadow."
Aaron turned to Maria, anxiety spread across his face as he returned his faithful companion, Blaster. "What pal should I fire out?"

*Yeah but oddly enough i'm actuall on at the same time as you today....  Cassie let out her Nidoking and Rhyhorn, Maria sighed and looked at Blaster who was a little tired after the last round. "Alright Night, let's use your attack that I just had you learn!" Night gave a curt nod and unleashed a snowy blizzard attack. |

"Alright, I guess I'll just have to wing it. Go, Blade!" Aaron released his Scyther, who screeched happily. "Blade, use Agility!" Blade used it and became extremely agile and quick. "Blade, now use Double Team!" Blade did so as numerous copies surrounded him. "Now Blade, use Night Slash, and dodge Night's Blizzard!" Blade nodded and attacked Nidoking from behind, also blocking them from the hard, icy stones. Nidoking roared and fell down, the Blizzard and the Night Slashes too much for the beast to handle.
Aaron high fived Maria and smiled. "Let's finish that Dugtrio off, and then whatever she has that's left, eh? Maybe we could even..." Aaron was cut off by Dugtrio use the dig move on Night, and was about to hit Night. "Maria! Look at Cassie's Dugtrio!"

Hiro walked into the gym in search of the gym leader. She sat in the far end of th gym doing nothing.
"So you are the one who claims to be the strongest gym leader of Kanto?" Hiro said
"...Yes I am" Cassie answered "That's why I only accept challenges from trainers who have collected the other seven badges of Kanto. And I guess you have that?"
"Off course"
"Well, if it is a battle you want then I probably should explain the rules right away. Since this is your last challenge before the pokémon league we are going to use ALL our pokémon, though I only got four... Well, I'll start with you, Rhyhorn!" she threw it's pokéball into the gym.
"Okay, Scyther, I choose you!" Hiro said, knowing that ground moves didn't work on flying types.
"Rhyhorn, use horn attack!"
"Scyther, dodge it and use X-scissors!" Scyther got a critical hit and fainted the Rhyhorn. Hiro was wondering if this battle was alot easier than he thought.
"Hm. I was only testing your strenght... And you did good. Now the real battle begins! Go! Dugtrio!" Cassie said
"Scyther use X scissors again!" Hiro yelled
"Dugtrio, dig underground to avoid the attack!" Scythers attack missed. "Now, Dugtrio, get up and use slash!"
Scyther fainted. "Hm. Scyther, return. Go, Charmeleon" better get done with the fire type, Hiro thought.
"Charmeleon use flamethrower!"
"Dugtrio, use earthquake!" due to Charmeleon's weakness for ground attacks it fainted too.
"Arcanine, I choose you!" Hiro yelled "Arcanine use extremespeed!" Arcanine hit dugtrio before it got the time to dig underground. "Now Arcanine, finnish him with flamewheel!" Dugtrio fainted. "Go, Nidoking!" Cassie said "Nidoking, use earthquake!" Arcanine fainted.
"I'll use my Nidoking too!" said Hiro "Go! Now, use earthpower!"
"Dodge it and use earthquake again!" said Cassie. Hiro's Nidoking also fainted due to Cassie's Nidoking's earthquake.
The battle didn't look good for Hiro, until...
"Go, Blastoise!" Hiro said. He used his most powerful pokémon, who also got a type adventage against ground types. Hiro couldn't lose now. "Blastoise, use hydro pump!" Nidoking fainted in one blow.
"I guess the battle has come down to one versus one now... well I didn't know that I had to use you, but... Go, Rhydon!" Cassie said.
"Fine." Hiro said "Blastoise use Hydro pump!"
"Quick Rhydon! Dig!" Blastoise's hydro pump missed.
"Now hit him!" Cassie said, and Rhydon appeard behind Blastoise and hit him.
"Blastoise, knock him over with skull bash!" Hiro said as Rhydon fell backwards "Now, finnish him with hydro pump!" Rhydon fainted.
"You are indeed a really strong trainer" Cassie said "I think you can get good results in the pokémon league! Here is your final badge: the earth badge!"
"Hm." Hiro said "...thanks..."
He walked out of the gym

Night took the hit and was sent flying back towards his trainer, "Night!" She called, gritting her teeth. "Good job, return!" The dragonair dissapeared back into it's pokeball and she pocketed it. Maria thought for a moment before pulling out another. Electric's no good....neither is Midnight or Sunshine...Best shot's gotta be... "Chardar!" She called, whipping the pokeball out into the arena.
Maria caught it in her hand as he roared, she grinned. "Fire Blast." His eyes glinted as he sent flames towards the ground pokemon.
"Dugtrio is out of the match!" The ref called as Cassie returned her pokemon.
"Last one..." Maria muttered, watching her.

"Go, Rhydon!" Cassie cried, releasing her final Pokemon. Aaron's Scyther stared stonily at the large rock-like Pokemon. Aaron stared at Maria and Chardar. "We can finish Cassie off; I know we can." Aaron pointed to Rhydon and yelled, "Blade, attack Rhydon with an Agility, followed by a Double Team then Fury Swipes!" Blade used all of those attacks as multiple Scyther copies attacked Rhydon, who immediately began swatting at the pestering foes.

Maria nodded to Aaron and turned to her Charizard, "Alright Chardar use flamethrower but be careful not to his Blade." He nodded sharply once and threw a stream of flames at Rhydon when there was an opening. "Good."

Maria's voice was accented by the roaring of Rhydon, who was attacked with a variety of blazing flamthrowers and quick but painful stings. The Blade copies dodged Chardar's controlled blasts and returned to their swiping attacks. With a worried look in her eyes, Cassie tried to comprehend what to do, and being the 8th Gym Leader, came up with a quick solution.
"Rhydon, use a Rock Tomb!" Rhydon roared in agreement and sent down numerous rocks, crushing the Scyther copies. Blade quickly spun out of the fray, but his copies were utterly destroyed. Huffing for breath, Blade stared at Aaron in a worried look. "Blade, it's okay, you weren't hurt badly. Send a Shadow Ball at Rhydon!" Blade charged up and sent a beam of dark energy towards Rhydon, who dodged it. Blade looked exhausted.
"Maria, do you think you could think of a combo between Chardar and Blade that would work? I'm pretty much out of ideas." Blade sighed and looked at the girl with hopeful eyes.

Mariah bit her lip, thinking. "Uhm...well Rhydon's a ground type so bug, flying and fire type attacks are more effective against it. If you could cover Chardar with fury cutter and distract Rhydon he'd have time to use a Blast Burn...." She looked back at him, "But I don't know if Blade could pull it off at the moment..."
*I don't know what attacks he has, I'm being rushed at the moment...so if that works, go for it!

Aaron nodded in agreement, shaking his head confidently. "You're right, Mariah. Blade can handle it, can't ya, Blade?" Blade also nodded and swiped his blades against each other, a steel clang ringing out. "Blade, use a Fury Cutter!" Blade swarmed around Rhydon and started to cut at the rock-like creature profusely.
Rhydon roared, and Cassie yelled, "Rhydon, focus all your attacks on the boy's Scyther to knock him out of the battle!"

Richie entered the gym "i challenge you to a pokemon battle" he said. Ok now she said throwing two pokeballs one two on two battle. It was rhydon and rhyhorn. Ok go Kingler and Hitmonlee. Hitmonlee Hi jump kick and Kingler ice beam. The rhydon dodged the jump kick but Rhyhorn was frozen in place. Now hit it with a Mega kick and kingler use crabhammer. The rhyhorn was knocked out. Rhydon used earthquake knocking the hitmonlee off his feet and Kingler used bubble beam. Rhydon easily moved to the side but was easily kicked by hitmonlee. Rhydon earthquake again and This time it knocked out Hitmonlee. Kingler finish it with a ice beam. He won and yelled in celebration. You won here the badge she said gving it to him.

Mariah waited for an opening, as soon as she saw it she yelled, "NOW!" Chardar's charged up fire attack let loose, engulfing Rhydon in visious flames. Mariah smirked, "Good Job Chardar!"
*I know I haven't been on all week - school you know. So finish it up alright Aaron? ^_^

OCC: Kk ;D I hope you can be more active!
BIC: Rhydon let out a shrill of pain and fainted to the dusty floor. Aaron wiped his brow of sweat and smiled. Blade looked completely owned, so Aaron returned him, a huge burden lifted off his shoulders.
Turning to Maria, Aaron beamed and then looked at Cassie. Returning her Rhydon, Cassie pushed back a strand of loose hair and stared wisely at the two trainers.
"Well done. You have proved yourselves worthy of the Earth Badge." She handed them each a shiny new badge, and Aaron couldn't help but smile. He had finally beaten the Eighth Gym Leader...

"Maria, I guess we part ways here." Aaron said this glumly, but knew this was the way. "I'll see you soon, I guess. Great battle. See ya Chardar." Aaron smiled before letting loose Blazer. He hopped onto the Charizard and flew off, waving to Maria...
