Route 1: Pallet Town - Viridian City

[Kano]

Kano walked back. while he was walking he aw a kid running with 2 pokemon. Kano ran to him. Soon he was on the floor resting. "Hey you there!" Kano got closer. "Where did you get tht Nidoran from?" Kano asked.

[Spar]

As he made his way back into the forest with Nidoran and Bulbasaur walking freely beside him, Spar stopped when he heard someone call out to him. He whirled around and faced Kano.

"You...I saw you in Pallet Town a while back. Actually, I caught this Nidoran completely by luck. Found 'em just outside of Victory road. Bulbasaur and I found out the hard way he's no push over either."

When he stopped speaking, he extended his hand to Kano.

"I'm Spar. And you're...?"

[Kano]

"I am, Kano. I will become the worlds most best Water Pokemon trainer, then Pokemon Master" Said Kano. Then Kano saw 2 pokemon, one was a Pidgey, the other was a Rattata. "Okay, you wanna battle them? I take Pidgey you take Rattata?"

[Spar]

"Leave 'em to me. Nidoran, stand by for commands. "

Nidoran stepped forward as Bulbasaur sat on it's haunches. Spar folded his arms, wondering which Pokemon Kano would use. A Rattata at this level would only be capable of physical attacks and Spar saw first hand how that could turn out. Nidoran's poisonous barbs could cause Rattata's attacks to back fire.

"Following your lead, friend."

[Kano]

"Okay, So I take Pidgey and you take Rattata, sure." Said Kano. "Squirtle! I choose you!" He said tossing the pokeball.

[Spar]

"Nidoran, let's get things started with a Tackle attack!"

Nidoran grunted before charging forth, it's sharp horn coming straight toward the Rattata. However, Rattata was at least two levels above Nidoran. It countered with Sand Attack, temporarily blinding Nidoran. As Nidoran was left vulnerable, trying to rub the debris from it's eyes, it was nailed by a tackle from Rattata.

Nidoran slid back a few feet, but it tenderly got to it's feet. Rattata however had succumbed to Nidoran's poisonous points and was constantly taking damage.

"Nidoran! On your feet!"

[Kano]

Kano just stood in place. "Squirtle, use tail whip." The Squirtle came at the Pidgeysmacking straight across the face. Then the Pidgey used Sand-Attack. "Squirtle jump backwards to dodge it. The Sand-Attack missed him. "Now use tackle as hard as you can" The Squirtle came running at Pidgey and hit it. Then Sand-Attack was used once more. Squirtle was hit. "Squirtle, Tail whip" The squirtle wacked pidgey and hit it down to the floor. "Yeah, I think that's it. Good job Squirtle. Return" Then Kano looked at how Spar was doing with Kano's cloak catching the wind.

[Spar]

The Rattata sprinted forward in a desperate Tackle as it felt it's HP begin to dwindle. It was still faster than Nidoran, but Spar had already developed a strategy.

"Nidoran, hold your position until the last possible second, then evade it!"

When Rattata was less than half a foot away, Nidoran side stepped the attack. It quickly whirled around, facing the off balance Nidoran.

"Finish this up with one final tackle, and make it count this time!"

Nidoran bolted forward, tackling Rattata from behind and taking it down for good.

"Whoa, it actually worked, Nidoran. Radical."

[Kano]

"Hmph, good job, you are gonna be a great trainer, I know it." Kano said. "Now, where will we go first?" Kano asked. "What about knock out some more Pokemon?" He asked but he didn't wait for an answer. He ran to a Pidgey. "Pidgey I choose you." The Pidgey was released. "Pidgey use Sand-Attack." The Sand-Attack hit Pidgey hard. The other Pidgey came in with a tackle. "Pidgey dodge." The Pidgey dodged the tackle. "Now counter it with another tackle." The tackle hit the Pidgey. The other Pidgey used Sand-Attack. The Sand-Attack hit Pidgey. Then "Pidgey use Sand-Attack for the final blow." The Pidgey hit the other and knocked it out. "Great job Pidgey. Return." Said Kano

[Zephur]

Zephur saw 2 other trainers and ran over. "Hey, my name is Zephur." He turned to Kano. "Do you wanna battle?"

[Kano]

"Yes, sure. I wonder what Pokemon you might have." Said Kano. "Hold on please Spar" Said Kano. "I am Kano, I will become a water pokemon trainer, then pokemon master." Said Kano. "Let's go. Do you have 2 pokemon? 2 on 2? Let's go" Said Kano.

[Zephur]

"Yes, I do. Let's battle. You can choose first." Zephur got one of his pokeball's ready.

[Kano]

"Okay, Squirtle, I choose you!" The Squirtle was released. "Choose your weapon... Pokemon..." Said Kano

[Zephur]

"A Squirtle... Go, Pidgey!" He threw a pokeball into the air and a bird came out. "You can go first."

[Kano]

"Roger. Squirtle, get ready, you will be hit, I can tell. Tail whip, now!" The tail whip was coming towards the Pidgeys face.
