Orethon spent quite a while training on Route 1. He heard there was a gym in Viridian, and he wanted to be ready. Although he didn't catch any more Pokemon, soon Squirtle was looking stronger, if a little tired.
"Well done," said Orethon grudgingly as Squirtle knocked out a Pidgey with a Tackle. Orethon and his Squirtle were starting to get on quite well. Both were competitive and both wanted to be the best.
Suddenly Orethon whipped out his Pokedex and scanned Squirtle.
"Hmmmm...." He said. "Apparently you should be about strong enough to use Bubble now..." Suddenly, a nearby patch of grass shook and Squirtle entered a fighting stance. A Rattata emerged from the grass.
"Rattata!" it exclaimed. "Squirtle, use Bubble!" ordered Orethon. Squirtle opened its mouth and spat a hail of glowing bubbles at Rattata, who was knocked back into the grass and rendered unconscious. Orethon nodded at Squirtle, who nodded gruffly back and together they set off for Viridian...

Maria sat Chardar on the grass as she pulled out her Pokedex. "Charmander can use Scratch and Tailwhip. Okay, good for a start. At least you have an attack." She said smiling at him. "Mander!" It said to her happily.
"Alright, come on." Maria said to him as she started walking down Route 1.
On her way she met a Pidgey. After flipping open her Pokedex she turned to Chardar. "Go get him!" She said. Charmander walked forward and tumbled when he was only a few feet away from it. The young Pidgey looked at him and cawed. "Chardar use Scratch attack!" Maria told him. Charmander swung forward with his claws and scratched the Pidgey. It pecked at his head in retalliation. "Tailwhip!" She said. Charmander thrashed his tail back and forth, sending embers into the air. The Pidgey fell to the ground dazed. "Good job Chardar!"
She looked at the wounded Pidgey and walked over to it. "Didn't think i'd feel that bad about attacking somthing..." She picked it up in her arms and stroked it's feathers. Chardar pulled a Pokeball out of her backpack on the ground and dropped it. He rolled it over to her and said, "Char!"
Maria smiled and picked the Pokeball up, clicking the button and letting the Pidgey dissapear into it.
"We can bring it to the Pokecenter in Viridian..." She told him before pocketing the Pokeball and continuing to Viridian City...

Starla and her new charmander headed out of Pallet Town.
"I wonder what pokemon wander here.."
"Char.."
They kept walking in search of any wild pokemon. As they came close to Viridian City a small purple and white pokemon jumped out at them.
"Chelsea! Go!"
"CHAR!" the charmander lunged herself at the Ratatta.
"Scratch it!"
Chelsea scratched it as the rat pokemon countered with a tackle. The charmander was pushed back but ran in again and scratched it.
"Chelsea! back off it! Little rat your mine now..." Starla stated and she tossed a pokeball at the injured pokemon. The pokeball hit the pokemon and sucked it in.
It shook once. Starla prayed.
It shook twice. Chelsea clung to Starla's leg.
It shook a third time. Starla crossed her fingers.
DING!
Trainer and pokemon jumped for joy! they did a dance then went over to the newly caught pokemon.
"Lets head off to the pokemon center and get you two healed. and then maybe we can find us a spearow."
"Charmander!"
On they walked towards the city.
OOC: hope that capture was ok. if not i'll edit this.

Spira walked out of the small town where she was sent by her father to get her pokemon.
She couldn't be happier, she had let her squirtle sometime before leaving the town
and now Bubbly walked beside her.
"Well Bubbly, do you think that we might be able to find our selves an rattata or pidgey?"
Spira asked her new friend.
"Squirtle-squirt," Bubbly replied looking happier that ever.
Spira nodded and made her way forward. "Bubbly, lets find ourselves a battle,"
Spira said pushing past a patch of bushes and looking around for pokemon. Her
Eared hood got caught on a branch and she pulled back, "argg." She groand as she
couldn't get out.
"SQUIRT!" Bubbly shouted in worry as her trainer squirmed about. Spira removed her hood from the bush and stepped out to look at Bubbly.
"I'm okay, don't worry," she said with a grin.
"RATTATA!" a noise chimed from behind then.
"Oh!" Spira said in shock. Time for her first battle.

"Bubbly!" Spira said looking back at her squirtle, "use tackle!"
Bubbly ran up to the Rattata and knocked into it with her hard shell.
The rattata winced and went into do the same,
Bubbly tried to roll to the side but got stuck on her shell.
"BUBBLY!" Spira shouted looking at her pokemon in worry.
The rattata tackled Bubbly and she flew backward but thankfully she was back on her stomach.
Spira sighed and took a step forward, "Bubbly use tailwhip!" she said balling her hands
into fists. "Good, now again use tackle!" Bubbly tackled and the rattata fell to the ground.
Spira threw a pokeball, her fist still clenched hoping it would be caught.
1 tip,
2tip,
3tip...
caught.
Spira smiled and picked out her pokeball, her first catch ever.
She skipped forward with Bubbly toward the other side of the trail, the next city wasn't far.

Jala looked around at her surroundings, her new squirtle sat on her shoulder looking up at the road ahead. "Well squirtle do you think that we'll meet a pokemin soon" she asked her poke partner. "Squirtle" it piped and jumped off Jala's shoulder onto the ground. There was a rustle in the bushes and then a Pidgey popped out. Squirtle looked at her trainer, Jala nodded "Squirtle use tackle" Jala called. Squirtle ran and crashed right into the Pidgey, knocking it back. The Pidgey stood up and came back at Squirtle. The little turtle pokemon dogde the Pidgeys attack. “Okay Squirtle lets try another tackle attack” Jala told her pokemon. Squirtle ran and crashed into the Pidgey again. The Pidgey stumbled back, Jala saw her chance to catch the pokemon so she threw a poke ball

3 click...
Ding
The poke ball stopped moving and Jala picked it up. She looked at Squirtle and smiled “way to go” she praised, the pokemon. Squirtle jumped on Jala's shoulder and the two headed for Viridian City.

pokestar and bulbasuar walked down the route to viridian city when pokestar saw a rattata and a pidgey fighting pokestar said "bublbasuar break them up wth a vine whip"*then the pokemon got angry me and bulbasuar got hit with wing attacks and fury swipes.pokestar said "that's how u wanna play bulbasuar wine whip them the attack was an succes!!!!!pokestar through a pokeball ding ding ding i caught pidgey but rattata got away.poketsar said"good job bulbasuar let's get walking so we can get u to a pokemoncenter.

ezekiel was relaxing when a pidgey attacked. sending out Blackout he used tackle to weaken and was about to fginish it off when he decided to catch it. "pokeball go" he cried as the ball caught pidgey it started shaking until finally the pokeball stoped. "yes your mine pidgey" he called pidgey Thyphoon

Aaron strode through the grass, his Charmander at his side. Blazer didn't mind his Pokeball, but he preferred his place at Aaron's side. Aaron smiled as he adjusted his Poketech wristband. His Pokedex, watch, and other PokeApps were built into it. He had tinkered with an app and called it 'PokeHunter.' He could type in any Pokemon, and it would see if there were any catchable candidates in the area. According to his PokeApp, there were numerous numbers of Pidgey and Ratatta, as well as a rare Sentret or Furret. Aaron knew he had to keep watch for his new Pokemon.
A rustle in the bushes. Aaron quickly grabbed a Pokeball out of his pack. His dad, a former Trainer, had given Aaron twenty Pokeballs and a few potions, telling him to use them wisely. Aaron peered into the bushes, where he saw two cute, tiny Sentrets hopping about. Aaron chuckled and aimed his ball. “Blazer, attack the bigger Sentret, now!” Blazer charged the Sentret. The two endearing, hoppy Pokemon suddenly narrowed their eyes and started to charge Blazer. Blazer raised his paws. “Scratch, Blazer!” He slashed one of the Sentret’s mercilessly, who started to whimper, but retaliated with a Tail Whip. Blazer flew back, as his confidence in his protection decreased. He just realized the world wasn’t going to hand him victories on a platter.
“Hang in there, buddy!” Aaron yelled, his ball aimed at the Sentret. One, two… Whish! The smaller Sentret jumped up and nabbed the ball. He quickly threw it away, and scampered towards his older sister. Aaron growled irately, and looked at Blazer, who quickly scratched the female Sentret again. She looked like she was about to faint. Aaron grabbed a ball quickly out of his bag and threw it at the weary Pokemon. The ball popped, capturing the Sentret. One rumble. Two rumbles. Three rumbles. Click. “I caught a Sentret!” Aaron yelled ecstatically, his fists shaking from exhilaration. The younger Sentret started to whimper. Blazer was about to strike a deadly blow to the Sentret. “Stop!” yelled Aaron, “Don’t hurt him!” He walked over to the Sentret and asked him, “Is she your older sister?” “Sen, sen,” said the Sentret, nodding its head. “Where’s your parents?” The Sentret burst into tears. “Alright,” said Aaron, trying to soothe the Sentret, “Do you want me to take out your sister?” The Sentret nodded. “Go, Sentret!” Aaron said, releasing his own Sentret. She looked at Aaron and then looked at her brother.
“Sen sen,” she said. “Sen sen,” he replied. This went on for a few minutes. The female Sentret looked at Blazer and said quietly, “Tret, sen, sen.” Blazer nodded in understanding and looked at Aaron. “Char, man, char, der, man,” he said to Aaron. Aaron seemed to understand. “You guys are orphans?” he asked. They both nodded. Aaron pondered for a minute and finally asked, “You guys want to come along with me as your trainer?” They both nodded furiously and smiled. “Alrighty, then.” He motioned to the girl Sentret. “Your name is Pixie.” She nodded and hugged him. Her fur was so soft and snuggable. He looked at her brother and said, smiling, “You’re Twitch.” He jumped up and down, his eyes gleaming in joy. “Well,” Aaron said, “It’s time to go! Return Pixie! Return Twitch!” They both jumped into their Pokeballs, a flash of joy spreading through the Route. “Wow,” Aaron whispered, Blazer looking at him in awe. They walked down the Route, finally making it to Viridian City, in awe of the many wonders of Pokemon.
