Nurse Joy smiled happily.
It was her job to register all the new trainers as official Pokemon Trainers. She had a fresh stack of Trainer Cards, all different colours. She had a large supply of PokeBalls, courtesy of the Viridian PokeMart. Every new trainer was to receive 5 PokeBalls as they started out.
She stared out of the window, watching the clouds go by...

Harry nervously entered the Pokemon centre. He had everything he needed to start his Pokemon adventure. He saw Nurse Joy and brightened slightly. There was another Nurse Joy in the town he had come from, Fortree in Hoenn. He walked up to the desk. "Hello." He said, still a little nervous. Nurse Joy smiled. "Hey there!" She said brightly. "Have you come to register as a Trainer?" Harry nodded quickly. "Yeah. All the way from Hoenn." He said. Nurse Joy smiled, and handed him a form. Harry looked at it closely. Official Pokemon Trainer Application Form Name: Age: Gender: Home Town: (e.g Pallet Town, Kanto) Any other details you would like to add: ID Number: (You may choose, but you don't have to)
Harry got a pen and filled it in. Official Pokemon Trainer Application Form Name: Harry Dark Age: 13 Gender: Male Home Town: Fortree City, Hoenn Any other details you would like to add: I would like to be a Sketcher. ID Number: 64664
He handed it over to Nurse Joy. She smiled and put it into the machine. A few seconds later she handed him a Trainer Card, but with a blank name. "Huh? Why no name?" Harry asked, confused. Joy smiled at him. "Professor Oak will put your name onto it when you receive your first Pokemon." She replied. Harry nodded and put the card in the special section of his pack. |

Harry saw another trainer doing his form, and went over to him.
"Hey. You signing up too?" He asked, just wondering.
Harry couldn't wait to go to the Lab and get his first Pokemon.

Orethon stalked up to the Pokemon Centre, his black cloak swirling about him as he moved. He occasionally stopped to glare at people who looked at him. "Snh-huh-huh" he snickered as he caught sight of the rather dingy looking Pokemon Centre. What a contemptible little town, he thought as he barged through the doors and sauntered confidently up to the desk.
"Can I help you?" asked Nurse Joy in a melodic voice.
"Hrmph." Orethon grunted, scowling at her. "I'm here to register as a trainer."
Nurse Joy started, caught of guard by his abruptness. She handed him a form that he all but snatched out of her hands...

Age: 15
Gender: Male
Home Town: Mossdeep City, Hoenn

He shoved the form back at Nurse Joy, who reluctantly accepted it and entered it into a machine.
A few seconds later, she handed him his Trainer Card. He glanced at it and said "You forgot my name, woman."
"Professor Oak will enter you name after he give you your first Pokemon," Nurse Joy replied a little frostily.
"Well, I guess I better go see him then, hmm?" said Orethon, tucking the card into his pocket and zipping it up...

He saw another trainer enter. He stood behind him and started to speak as he zipped up the pocket. "Hey! I'm Harry. Nice to meet you." He said.

Orethon paused to examine the other two beginning trainers who stood before him. From first appearances they seemed much younger than him, and he sneered a little. Then one of them addressed him, saying "Are you coming to the lab too?". Orethon replied sarcastically "No. I'm going to the moon.", then "Of course I'm going to the lab" he snapped, turning about and heading for the lab doors.

Harry sighed a little. He hoped that not all trainers would be as frosty as Orethon. He smiled at Jin.
"Let's get going then!" He said brightly, and set off towards the door, waving goodbye to Nurse Joy as he went.

A young black haired girl of fourteen walked down the road to Professor Oak's Laboratory. Her backpack was slung over one shoulder, her Eevee key chain hanging from the front zipper. She wore a red t-shirt and blue jeans. Her white shoes were coverd in mud and dirt from the long road.
Maria jumped back as the doors opened. She dodged Harry as he walked through the doors with Jin. She walked up to Nurse Joy and smiled.
"I'm here to sign up as a Trainer." She said politly.
Nurse Joy nodded to the black haired girl. "Alright, just fill this form out please." She said and handed her an application form.
Name: Maria Wolff
Age: 14
Gender: Female
Home Town: Pokemon HQ Lab (Agate Village), Orre
Any other details you would like to add:
-Uncle is Professor Krane.
-Would like an Eevee for her first Pokemon.

She handed it back to Nurse Joy. "You've traveled a long way."
Maria nodded, "Yes, but it's all worth it."
Nurse Joy smiled, "You're right. And your Uncle will be proud of you once you've finished." She said as she put the card in.
"Yes he will," Maria said smiling as Nurse Joy gave her back the card.
"You can follow those boys to Professor Oak now. He'll put your name on the card after you recieve your Pokemon." She explained to her.
"Thank you Nurse Joy," Maria said to her before turning and following Harry, Jin and Orethon out the door.

The door to the Pokemon Center opened as if by the wind. Nurse Joy looked up and saw a young silver haired girl walking up to the desk. The girl bowed to the older woman.
"I'd like to sign up as a trainer, please." her voice was soft and barely heard. Nurse Joy smiled and handed her the form.

Age: 18
Gender: Female
Home Town: Iron Island, Sinnoh
Any other details you would like to add: Would like a Riolu or a Lucario as her starter.
ID Number: 447448
She handed it back to Nurse Joy and bowed again. Nurse Joy smiled and entered the information into the computer. She then handed the girl a trainer's card.
"Professor Oak will put your name on this after he gives you your starting Pokemon." she told the girl. The girl bowed again as she took the card from Nurse Joy and headed out of the Pokemon center and off to Oak's Lab.
