1. Experience
Now, we all know, experience points make the world go round. So, there are a few equations to calculate exp points. You must use them.
Exp obtained from Pokemon in the wild
The basic equation is:
L x 5
Wildies have less exp, so there is a subtraction.
L x 5 x 0.8
Now, you'll probably need a calculator, but most PCs have one built in.
That is the equation for wildies.
E.g: Wurmple lv10.
10 x 5 = 50 x 0.8 = 40 exp points.
Forms
To complicate matters more, some Pokes get an added bonus.
If it has 1 form, for say, Absol, Dunsparce, it gets a bonus of its level
L x 6
For two form basic, e.g Ponyta, there is a bonus of .5
L x 5.5
For the two forms stage 1, its up to plus 1 level. - Rapidash, for instance
L x 6
For 3 form basic - Mudkip
L x 4.5
3 form stage 1 - Marshtomp
L x 5.25
3 form stage 3 - Swampert
L x 6
NPC Trainer's Pokemon
Now, trained Pokemon get a bonus. They don't have the subtraction, so they get the straight equations.
Member's Pokemon
Ah, now. If you battle a member, the exp has a little bonus. For each Pokemon, you earn double experience. So for a lv 100 Swampert owned by a member:
100 x 6 = 600 exp.
Ans x 2 (member bonus) = 1200 exp points.
That is brilliant.
Section 2 - Leveling up
Now, as you may have noticed, the exp isn't going to reflect the exp from the game. So, there are different amounts of exp for levels.
So... there are, for simplicity, 4 different bands of exp needed to level 100.
Band 1 - Weaker
This is basically Pokemon that are quite weak, don't evolve or haven't evolved.
Band 2 - Average
For average Pokemon.
Band 3 - Starting
For starting Pokemon, and other particularly powerful Pokemon.
Band 4 - Legendary
For legendary Pokemon and other ubers.
So, these need different amounts of exp for level 100.
Band 1 - 80,000
Band 2 - 100,000
Band 3 - 105,986
Band 4 - 125,000
So, now that you can calculate exp, we're done for this section!
All that's left is the amount to next level.
You need a calculator. XD
So, we'll take 100,000 for an example.
You divide it by 1.1. You round the number to the nearest whole 1, and that's the amount of exp for level 99. I don't actually know how to work it out for each and every level, although I do have an idea. It requires a scientific calculator.
So, we're sorted out, exp wise. read on for damage calculations, and other dreary thing you need to know.
