they can know loads. No limit.
There is a limit on TM/HM/Other moves that they know, so...
Charizard Moves: Flamethrower, Wing Attack, Metal Claw, Fly, Seismic Toss
Would be fine
Charizard Moves: Fire Punch, Iron Tail, Fly, Mega Punch, Hyper Beam, Fire Blast, Crunch, Smokescreen
Nope, too many unatural moves there.
