Route 103 is a dead end apart from the link to route 110 over water so you need surf to get there. pretty much a training and catching route. If you are playing rivals, your first rival battle will be here she/he has the type opposite to you so if you picked Treecko, she/he will have Torchic, You pick Torchic she/he will pick Mudkip
