IC This route is infested with Hikers. It is their meeting place after travelling through Mt. Moon, so get your Water types ready! There is no long grass on this route. Bills' HouseBill's house is also on this route. He loves visitors, and is happy to show off his PC system to all trainers! |

CaptainScooter: I am telling you we should have turned left at that tree.
Steven: But the map says to go right... see.
CaptainScooter snatches map.
CaptainScooter: *slap* YOU'RE HOLDING IT UPSIDE DOWN!
Steven blushes.
CaptainScooter: What's worse is the tree that we turned right on. I can't see it!
Steven: Hey look a man. Maybe he can help?
CaptainScooter and Steven head toward the man.
Steven: Exscue's me we are trying to get to Cerulean City. Could you help?
Man: That's where I am headed too.
CaptainScooter: So you don't know where it is?
Man: `Fraid not me an the others are like you lost.
CaptainScooter and Steven: OTHERS!
Man: Yeah look behind.
CaptainScooter and Steven look behind the man and see a dozen people everywhere trying to find Cerulean City.
CaptainScooter and Steven: Gagh.
Man: Yep that's us we are Hickers we travle alot but can't find are home. So uh... why you headed to Cerulean City?
CaptainScooter: We are going there to get the Cascade Badge!
Man: Well good luck but seeing as you two are in a hurry head on over to Bill's house over there.
Man points to a house.
Man: Bill just LOVES vistors and can help you out.
Steven: Thanks
CaptainScooter and Steven head to the house.
Doorbell: RING RIG RING!
Bill: Who is it!
CaptainScooter: People who need to get to Cerulean City!
Bill: Just a second!
Inside.
Bill: Sure of course I can help you.
Bill walks to a drawer and pulls out a map.
Bill: This map can help you get from here to Cerulean City.
Steven: Thanks! How much?
Bill: 1 Battle
Steven: Oaky we'll take... say what?
Bill: You heard me you must battle me and my Team.
CaptainScooter: But we're in a hurry.
Bill: Then we can make it a quick battle. So let's do it! Unless you... don't want the Map.
CaptainScooter: Very well... let's do it!
Steven: Ho boy.

Re Continuing from above:
Bill: Since you both are in such a hurry why don't we have a 1 on 1 battle.
CaptainScooter: Sounds good to me.
Steven: Are you sure about this CaptainScooter?
CaptainScooter: Of Course now come on lets get it ON!
Bill: I choose you... DRAGONNITE!
CaptainScooter and Steven: WHAT!
The ball is tossed into the air and Dragonite is released from the ball.
Dragonite: RAAAHHH!
CaptainScooter: EYE YI YI what is That?!
CaptainScooter uses the pokedex.
Pokedex: Dragonite the Dragon pokemon, If its body takes on an aura, the weather changes instantly. It is said to live in seas and lakes.
Bill: So what Pokemon do you choose?
CaptainScooter's thoughts: If I choose Charmander he couldget hurt really badly, maybe I should choose Poliwrath that way it can get out some training.
CaptainScooter: I choose...
Just then a Pokemon comes out of its ball. It is Charmander
Charmander: Char!
CaptainScooter: Waah CHARMANDER GET BACK IN THE BALL!
Bill: To late it's out of its ball and now it has to brawl. Dragonair just use wrap to end it.
Dragonair: RAAAH!
Soon Dragonair wraps around Charmander's body.
Charmander: Char char!
CaptainScooter: CHARMANDER!
Steven: Quick call it back!
CaptainScooter: Okay, return Char... HUH?
Soon Charmander with pain on him unleashes a probably never ending attack of ember. Soon Dragonair is in cased in it.
Bill: NO!
CaptainScooter: Uhhhh... huh um okay Charmander use Tail Whip into...
CaptainScoter looks around and sees a little pool.
CaptainScooter... that pool!
Charmander obeys and swaps the dragon into the pool.
Dragonair: Raaah.
Bill: Dragonair use recover!
Dragonair gets up but soon is nocked down by Charmander's leer attack.
Bill: Dragonair?
Steven: Look Dragonair retreats that means we WIN! HA HA HA!
CaptainScooter: Great Job Charmander.
CaptainScoter walks over and hugs the Pokemon for the work.
Steven: You know I think that this was one quick battle and Charmander got a little hurt but it looks like he pulled through in the end with that ember attack.
CaptainScooter strokes the Pokemon's head.
CaptainScooter: Yeah well you have earned a good rest buddy. Return.
Charmander returns to the ball.
CaptainScooter: Now Bill remember the bet.
Bill: Yep so here it is.
Bill hands over the map.
Steven: Perfect well lets go get are 2nd badge.
CaptainScooter: Right.
Both of them walk towards where the map points and then they look back to bid the man fare well.
CaptainScooter and Steven: Bye!
Bill: Bye and Good Luck with the Journey! Oh and also do come back to visit if you can alright!
CaptainScooter: OK see ya
Steven: Thanks Again!
And the two heroes head over to Cerulean City.
