"We're not talking so I don't care", he said with his back to Barbie. Jin picked up Cyndy and put it on Char's wings.

Landing Blazer on a field not far from the Lab, Aaron dismounted the large beast and patted his Charizard on the head. For the most part, Aaron had completed his main journey in Kanto. He had not gone to any of the islands or participated in any sort of 'extra' badges, but instead went to routes, practicing and honing the skills of his Pokemon.
Blazer had grown, and was now an fully-grown Charizard. His flame was at full, and his fangs were nice and shiny. Returning his dragon-like Pokemon, Aaron rubbed the ball caringly before clipping it to his utility belt. Aaron had grown a lot since he first started his journey, growing to be a stronger and more confident trainer. He had made friends, made enemies, but also had made his Pokemon the best they could be.
With loving care, Aaron took the oddly-colored egg out of his bag. Rubbing it gently, Aaron wondered curiously what it could have possibly been. His first assumption was a Hitmonlee, since he had received it from Master Kim, a leader in the Dojo, but then it could have been a Hitmonchan. The egg was purplish, with a light violet color covering the smooth egg, while bright, royal purple spots coated spots on the egg. Nevertheless, Aaron had taken care of the egg.
It was defiantly a late hatch, but Aaron was going to stay patient. He had flew to the Orange Archipelago, so he could receive one of the unique starters. He had toyed with the idea of getting a Cydaquil, but he realized he was not ready for the temperamental, shy creature. No, he was better off with a Treeko, more easy-going and easier to train.
Walking down to the Lab, Aaron scratched his fuzzy chin before proceeding through the high-tech doors of the lab. The area was rural, and had a nice tone to it, so the teen was most surprised when the high-tech laboratory sat plopped in the middle of the town. "Oh well," Aaron said out loud, "It's a nice lab, and Oak has said even nicer things about this scholarly Professor Ivy."
Walking into the lab, trainers passed and went, while a spoiled-looking trainer with blonde hair passed him. He had assumed that this was the Barbie Girl people talked about, and that she was one of the 'extra' Gym Leaders Aaron failed to meet.
Walking into the center of the lab, Aaron inspected some of the Pokeballs. They were all neatly on a rack and polished, and Aaron couldn't help but feel at ease at the technology-advanced but comfortable lab. Sitting in a brown leather loveseat, Aaron awaited the arrival of Professor Ivy, so he could indeed recieve a starter Pokemon.

Professor Ivy walked up."Uh hello? Did I keep you waiting? Sorry I was riding on a gyrados for the past half hour. What can I do for you?"

Aaron stared at the Professor's intense violet hair, smiling nonchalantly. His brother's Pokemon Professor, Sylph O'Dell, had bright violet hair. The Professor looked sweaty, and her white labcoat was slightly soiled by the seawater splashes from her ride on a Gyrados.
"A Gyrados, eh?" said Aaron, smiling at the pretty Professor, "Sweet. I was going to raise one, but I decided it was against my overall trainer strategy." Flipping around a Zippo lighter he had bought at the local curio shop, Aaron flicked the flames around with ease, staring at the Pokeballs.
"Professor," Aaron hinted with a friendly voice, "I'm here for a Treeko. A girl if you don't mind. You see, I'm heading over to Johto, but I figure I might see a few islands in the Orange', and also figured that I could pick up a Hoenn Pokemon. So, what do you say?"

"A female treeko. alright." She handed over the pokeball."But you must know OA pokemon dont like to leave OA, if they grew up here, even migrating pokemon dont like to leave. OA pokemon refuse to leave OA. They will only leave if they see there trainer is strong enough to take care of them out of their normal climate, and other abbtributes theyre used to from their tropical life. Having atleast 24 badges comforts them enough tom trust their trainer. So I dont think you can take treeko to johto just yet alright?"

Aaron was a little disheartened, but he realized that the Professor made sense in her words. Though he wanted to go to Johto, the Treeko would need to get used to her new trainer if he was going to raise the Pokemon properly.
"I will take what you have said into consideration, Professor. I perfectly understand what you mean, and I will listen to most of your advice. As for the 24 badges, I'm not so sure, but I'll try to figure a way to soften up the Treeko. Thanks. Please store my Golbat, Marawok, Arcainine, Scyther, and Nidoking in my PC. Thanks."
Aaron thanked the Professor and left the Lab, walking off with his new companion.

"alright bye"
(seriously the rule is you need 24 badges to take them out of OA)

OCC: I see the rule, but was this approved by Harry, and even so, what is the purpose of the rule? I would think this would be for noobs who go to every single region in one day and then catch every single rare Pokemon on the block. I don't think it's necessary otherwise.
Yeah, so, was this approved by Harry, because I had absolutely no say in this (though in the end it is his decision ;D) and what is the reason for the sudden rule?

(We had to make the 24 badge rule for we dont want people catching all the rare sinnoh, johto, hoenn pokemon in OA and use them in other places like the the inidigo league and stuff. So its mandatory to have 24 badges to take pokemon out of OA. So you have to beat 3 regions first)
