Gym #4 - Rainbow Badge

[Harry Dark]

Erika is gym leader here, and she is a master of Grass Types. She makes good use of Mega and Giga Drain, which not only drain your HP, but add to hers. Fire and Flying Types are great here.

OCC: OMG. I just deleted the longest post I ever made... and forgot to copy it. Okay, I'm going to start over, doing a short version.

Aaron had previously gone to the Department Store, where he had bought several useful items. Afterwards, he headed over to a near park where he practiced with his Pokemon new techniques. He knew that Erica was weak to Fire and Flying, so he would use that to his advantage. Blazer, his passionately kind and strong Charizard, was taught a move called Blaze Tail, which required perfect timing of hitting the opponent with a fully-engulfed tail. Fetch, his innocent, naive Growlithe, was taught Fire Rush, which required a full speed, charging at the foe fully engulfed in flames. Blade Wing was taught to Fang, his goofy, laid-back Golbat, which was very similar to Steel Wing, only a different tempo and a different finish. Boosting them with Proteins and Carbos etc., Aaron knew his team was ready. After returning his Pokemon to their appropriate balls, Aaron got ready to fight Erica.

Aaron entered the Gym. It was florally-decorated, with exotic plants and overgrown hedges. A moss covered deck was at the end of the gym, where Erica was watering a small flower. She was a pretty girl, maybe about four years older than Aaron. Her hair was black, and was short and cropped. She wore a traditional kimono, and her eyes were deep with wisdom, even though she was still considered young. "Erica," Aaron said confidently, "I challenge you to a battle." Erica turned over a smiled. "Sure thing," she said, putting her watering can away. She stuck it under a man-made waterfall, where the soft current allowed ivy to grow around it.

"Three Pokemon for each trainer, one-on-one style battle," she said, taking out a ivy-covered Pokeball. Aaron reached for his Pokemon's ball, nodding his head in agreement. "Go Tanglers!" she said, releasing a vine-covered Pokemon. "Go Fetch!" Aaron yelled, hurling a ball into the middle of the stadium. A small, chubby Growlithe appeared, apparently trying to doze off. He immediately saw the Tangela and yipped in competitive excitement. "Fetch, use Agility!" Erica thought for a minute and then spoke, "Tangela, try to use a Vine Whip!" Tangela gurgled and shot two vines straight at Fetch. Fetch used Agility and dodged each vine. The vines were fast, but a sprinting dog using Agility can easily outrun it. "Fetch," Aaron yelled, "Use Fire Rush at maximum velocity!" Fetch nodded and growled. He charged the confused Tangela, completely engulfed in blue flames. "GROOOOOWLLLLL-LIIIIIIITHE!!!!" Fetch tackled Tangela, making the poor vine-covered creature fly back into a wall, KOing itself.

"Oh Tangela!" Erica said, "Good job, dear." She returned it, and took out her next Pokeball. She threw it, saying, "Go, Treetree!" A huge, hulking Victreebel appeared, it's carnivorous lid snapping. "Return, Fetch!" Aaron yelled. "Go, Fang!" Fang, his goofy Golbat, emitted from his ball, fooling around till he realized he was in the middle of a battle. Fang then positioned himself high in the air. "Fang," Aaron yelled, "Use a Taunt!" Fang cackled and taunted his foe, causing Victreebel to snap at him. "Treetree," Erica called, "Be patient." Victreebel, who's pet name was Treetree, nodded and rolled his eyes. He would stay patient. Fang taunted him and got a little too close... SNAP! Fang's wing got trapped in Victreebel's mouth. The more Fang pulled, the more HP was taken away. Fang moaned and finally fell limp.

"WHAT??" Aaron cried, "How could that happen!?!" He returned Fang slightly ticked and whispered to the ball, "Good job." Erica turned to him. "Aaron, you are a great trainer." Aaron turned to her. "How'd you know my name?" "I know a lot of things. Word goes around. One of the things that I know is that you could be unstoppable if you harnessed your passions. You're one and major flaw is hubris." "You mean that stuff you stick on veggie sandwiches?" "That's hummus. Hubris is a fatal pride that thinks together, or by yourself, you can do better than someone else. This leads to the roads of darkness." Aaron nodded carelessly. "Okay okay, enough of the lecture, let's get started." Erica looked at Aaron wisely. "You have a good heart, but in order to beat stronger trainers than I, you need to open your heart." Aaron rolled his eyes. Like she would know. Let's get started already...

Aaron took out Blazer's ball, and chucked it into the middle of the Gym floor. Blazer appeared, with his looming wings hanging forward and his teeth bared. "Return, Treetree!" Erica said softly, returning her large Pokemon. "Go, Petals!" A strong-looking female Vileplume appeared, her eyes curled neatly. "Alright Blazer, use a Flamethrower!" "Counter it with a Reflect!" Blazer used Flamethrower, but it bounced off harmlessly with her Vileplume's Reflect. Aaron cursed silently. "Blazer, use a Aerial Ace T, then attack foward with a Brick Break, to smash that Reflect!" Blazer jumped up, spread his wings, set himself up to use an Aerial Ace... then dived down and used a Brick Break! The clear wall was shattered, and Vileplume was completely unprotected. "Blazer, finish it off with a Flame Tail!" Blazer turned 360 degrees in perfect tempo, and hit Vileplume with a Flame Tail! Vileplume fell limp, KOed by such a hit.

"Return, Petals!" she said, smiling towards Aaron. "Return, Blazer! Good job, buddy!" he said, Blazer returning into his ball. Erica smiled. "You did a good job, Aaron, and you would have done much better if you had only heeded my words..." Aaron rolled his eyes again. "Listen, Erica, I wouldn't be talking. I got the win, you got the loss. What does it matter?" Erica smiled again. "You will find out in time."

Aaron left the Gym and headed for the Centre. He found Erica wise and caring, but a little odd. She was giving him advice on his personality in the middle of a Battle. Oh well. At least I won. Aaron entered the Centre, and smiled as he saw the gleam of his new badge.

[Harry Dark]

Harry entered the gym after Aaron, Neumatic at his side, knowing that it was going to be a hard battle.

He walked over to Erika, who had turned back to watering her flowers. Harry tapped her on the shoulder.

"Battle?" Harry asked.
"Yup, a one on one?" Erika said.
Harry nodded, and took his place sending out Neumatic.

Erika sent out Petals.

"Ok, Neumatic, Fury Attack!" Harry called, Neumatic hitting Vileplume, but not badly.

"Petal Dance!" Erika called, and the Petals flew towards Neumatic.
"Neumatic, your most powerful Gust attack!" Harry called, and Neumatic flapped his wings quickly, sending out powerful gusts of wind, hitting the oncoming petals. Ther petals stopped coming, and veentually exploded, leaving a cloud of black smoke.

"Neumatic, lock on, then Twineedle!" Harry called, and Neumatic sent out the attack, cutting a dead straight line through the smoke, smashing into Petal, sending it flying backwards into the wall.

"OK Neumatic, finish it with Gust again!" Harry called, and Neumatic's wings flapped hard again hitting Vileplume, KOing it.

Harry cheered. "Way to go Neumatic!" He laughed.

Erike gave him the badge and said nothing.

I'm getting a lot more powerful. Harry's a great trainer. Beedrill thought, as he and Harry left the gym for the department store.

[Mariah Wolff]

Maria walked into the Celadon Gym. She walked in, Eve on her shoulder and looked around. The plants were gorgeous and the whole place smelled wonderful. Blaze was padding beside her, shying away from a group of oddish. Maria came across Erika who was tending to her pokemon Vileplume.

"You're Vileplume looks great Erika." Maira said looking at the happy pokemon. Erika turned around and stood up.

"Thank you." She smiled, "And what's your name?"

"Maria, Maria Wolff."

"Well Maria, I'm guessing, by looking at your pokemon that you're here for a gym battle." Erika said.

Maria nodded, "Yup. If you're up to it that is."

"We're always ready for a Gym battle. Are you ready Vileplume?" "VILE-PLUUME!" Erika turned back and nodded, "State your terms."

"How about a double battle?" Maria asked after a moment.

Erika smiled again, "Alright then. my Vileplume and Victreebel will battle against your pokemon."

Erika stood at the opposite end of the field, her assistants around. "GO Vileplume and Victreebel!" She said, throwing her two pokeballs into the air and catching them again.
"Vile!" "Victre!"

Maria thought for a moment, "Not Blaze, he won't listen too well in his first battle. And Ace is still a little tired from the trip..." She looked at Eve on her shoulder, "You up?" He nodded, "VEE!" he pounced off her shoulder onto the ground. "And Chardar." Maria said, throwing his pokeball. He came out, roaring and glaring at Maria, not liking being stuck in his pokeball. "Sorry, you're out now. Will you battle against Erika for me?" He turned his head and snorted smoke, No. Maria sighed, "Then I'll just have Blaze fight and you'll go back into your pokeball..." She grinned, looking at him.
He snapped around and roared at Erika, "Much better."

Erika smiled, "You haven't taught your pokemon very well if they don't like their own trainer."

"Me and Chardar go way back, there's no way we'll loose...and Eve," She said looking at him, "He's my best partner." Her two pokemon smiled and took a stance against Erika's pokemon.

"Alright, we'll see what you can do then..." Erika said, "Vileplume Mega Drain! Victreebel Sleep Powder!"

"Chardar blow the powder away!" Maria called, he blew it away, Eve standing behind him. "Alright Eve go in with a quick body slam, Chardar use flamethrower on Vileplume!" She called.
Eve ran in, hitting Victreebel with the body slam, doing a bit of damage.
"Vileplume use Solarbeam to counteract it!" Erika said. Vileplume faced the flames with a Solarbeam attack.

"Woah that was fast, careful you two!" Maria called, "Chardar move in closer and scratcher with a flaming metal claw!"
Chardar uped the flames and walked towards Vileplume.

"Victreebel Sunnyday then Razor Leaf!" Erika called, it happened fast. Victreebel used a SunnyDay to inhance the sunlight and then hit Chardar hard with a RazorLeaf, there was no time to react. The SunnyDay made Vileplume's Solarbeam attack gain power swiftly, knocking Chardar back away once more.

Maria gritted her teeth, "There's no way we're going to loose! Chardar fly in quickly, Eve trail behind use a bodyslam." Chardar stood up and flapped his wings, soaring forward quickly, Eve coming up underneath. Eve pounced on Victreebel and KOed it with a bodyslam.

Erika re-called her pokemon and turned to Maria, "That was pretty well thought out, good-job. Now it's our turn." Vileplume was fully charged from the SunnyDay and ready for another Solarbeam, "Quickly now use Solarbeam on Charizard!" Chardar took the hit right in the chest, knocking him way back by his trainer. "Razor Leaf!" Chardar only had time to send sphere of flames at Vileplume before the Razor Leaf hit him, KOing him.

Maria stared, recalling her pokemon after a minute and turning to Eve. "I believe you can do this Eve!" Maria called to him, be beamed and turned to the Vileplume. The flame sphere had hit it and it was tired out from using the two solarbeams. SunnyDay had worn off and Eve was still entergetic and ready for battle.
"Alright, Eve's strongest attack is Return, that should KO Vileplume. Eve use Return!" He charged forward, knocking into Vileplume, sending the grass pokemon back towards Erika.

It got back to it's feet and looked at Eve. "Vileplume use PetalDance!" Erika called.

"Dodge Eve!" Maria called, he dodged best he could though was hit a little but the attack. "Use a body Slam!"

"Solarbeam!" Erika called. Maria gasped, Eve was headed straight for the Solarbeam. He jumped through it, taking on serious damage and rammed into the grass pokemon. He sent it flying back, KOed and collapsed. Erika recalled her pokemon as Maria rushed up to her Eevee, lying on his side on the floor.

She cradled him in her arms, "Eve, I'm so sorry..." She said to her tired, weak pokemon. She dug around in her backpack, looking for a revive. "It's not there, I just bought a bunch!" She remembered....she left it back at the store when she was looking at the evolution stones...She moaned, "I'm so sorry Eve...I'm sorry..." He reached up and licked her face, letting out a feeble "vee..."

Maria's eyes closed, tears falling down her face. Eve started to glow, Maria opened her eyes as she watched her wounded pokemon in her arms. His ears started getting longer and his tail became smoother. His body grew bigger and his legs taller. He stopped glowing and looked at Maria with big red eyes, "Breon!"

Erika smiled, "There your pokemon are all better."

"Thank you Erika." Maria said, looking at Eve whom she re-named Midnight.

"Thank the pokemon not me, they're the ones who helped." Erika smiled and looked around at her grass pokemon.

Maria nodded to the Vileplume, Gloom and other grass pokemon, "Thanks so much."

Erika handed Maria her rainbow badge, "You've earned it. You obiously care alot for your pokemon, I can tell. Not many people will get an Eevee to evolve into an Umbreon... that takes true friendship." She looked down at Midnight, then back up at Maria, "You take care now."

"Thanks again Erika!" Maria called as she walked off, waving back at the gym where Erika, her pokemon and assistants were waving good-bye.

[bakaryu]

Bakaryu had walked in the gym confident as ever after winning three straight matches in a row and wasn't about to let this one go.

Erika:" Hey there cutie, you here for a battle."

Bakaryu blushed and said," Yes mam."

Erika:" Good is a double battle fine with you?"

Baka:" No problem."

Erika:" Ok lets go Victreebel and Vileplume."

Baka:" Alright, Cowbell, Thatchi you're up."

Erika:" Hmmm, prevolutions a they look kinda strong there, Alright you both use Mega drain."

Baka:" Guys dodge then use acid."

Bakaryu's team dodged then use acid but did barly any damage to the pair.

Baka:" Ok use acid one more time focusing on Vileplume."

Erika:" Ok Victreebel grab both of them with you're vine whip."

Erika did a banged up job and both oddish and bellsprout were in a bad situation. Suddenly, both Oddish and Bellsprout started glowing, they evolved into Gloom and Weepinbell.

Baka:" ALright you guys evolved now its time to use you guys special move, go use sludge bomb now."

Erika:" hmmm so they know sludge bomb, thats great for you, now use Solar beam victreebell and Vileploom use petal dance.

Bakaryu's team hit dead on, but so did Erika's team knocking out Bakaryu's team in a flash.

Baka:" No Thatchi, Cowbell."

Erika:" Well, nice battle Cutie please try again tomrow."

Baka:" Thank You I will be coming back tomrow, see you then."

Back again, Bakaryu had asked Thatchi and Cowbell if they wanted to evelve or not using his leaf stones. They declined saying that they would beat them in there current condition, with special training they did last night.

Baka:" Erika I am back and ready."

Erika:" Ok darling another double battle.?"

Baka:" Yea I think my pokemon wanna get another shot at there volved forms."

Erika:" Ok, he wants more Vileplume and Victrebell well give him more."

Baka:" Ok guys its time to shine, lets go Thatchi and Cowbell."

Baka:" Thatchi throw one sludge bomb high in the air at Vileplume, then Cowbell you throw one low enough so while there distracted you can hit Victreebell with you're own sludge bomb."

Erika:" Victreebell grab that sludgebomb with youre vinewhip and protect Vileplume."

Erika did manage to stop Thatchi's sludge bomb, but got so distracted that Victreebell still ended up dropping the ball on Vileplume and got hit with a good shot from COwbell.

Erika:" Wow, so this is what can be acomplished in one night of training I am inpressed. Now use solar beam Victreebell and petal dance Vileplume."

Baka:" Ok Thatchi use moonlight now. Cowbell, send a array of sludge bomb towards them when thatchi blacks evrything out."

Erika's Victrebell technique was canceled by moonlight. Moonlight was canceled when petal dance hit Thatchi, but when moonlight was finished Victreebell and Vileplume was greeted by a sludge bomb bananza, knocking them out.

Baka:" Allright guys you did it, we won. nice work team."
Thatchi:" Gloom, Gloom."
Cowbell:" Weepin bell."

Erika:" Hmm excelent work. You have shown me that you can accomplish anything if youre mind is set on it and that its not always the bigger pokemon that wins, well done bakaryu and here is youre badge."

Baka:" Thank you mam, allright I got the rainbow badge." He headed out with a huge smile on his face.

Barbie and Erika just started theyre battle

"Dratini use dragon rage!" Dratinis dragon rage hit tangela."Follow up with twister!" Dratini made a twister where tangela got sucked in and fainted.

Erika returned tangela"Vicctrebell use razor leaf" Her victrebel came out and used razor leaf.

"Dragon rage" Both pokemon got hit but dratini wasnt hurt to much."another dragon rage!"

"Sunny day then Solar beam!" Victrebell used sunny day making it hot and bright making its solorbeam launched already, but dratini had already fired its dragon rage. They both got hit and fainted"Lets go Vileploom. Use mega drain on what she uses." Her vileploom came out ready to use mega drain

"Nidorina use ice beam" Barbies nidorina came out and used ice beam but vileploom gained some hp from nidorina using mega drain.

"Solar beam!" The sunny day was still out and blasted nidorina and she fainted.

"Go ninetails." Barbies silver ninetails came out."Use fire blast" Ninetails blasted a large fire blast which hit vileploom and it fainted.

"Vileploom return. Good job. Your pretty and strong here is your badge." Erika handed her badge.

Barbie took the badge."Thanks for the true complements and badge" Barbie walked out to the center.

Gabe walked into the gym.
He noticed how flowers were everywhere...
He saw Erika at the far end of the Gym.
(Wow she's beautiful) he thought.
Gabriel walked right up to Erika.
"Hey Erika." he said.
"Welcome trainer." she said.
"Please, call me Gabriel, or Gabe for short." he said.
"Ok, Gabriel." she said.
"Err..Anyways, I've come here to challenge you." he said.
"Ok, I accept your challenge." she said.
"Great, 2 on 2."
"Fine, Vileplume, and Victribel go!" she said throwing the Pokeballs in the air.
"Haha....Growlithe, Pidgeotto! I choose you two!"
Growlithe and Pidgeotto came out.
"Grooooowlith!" growled Growlithe.
He looked as lively as ever.
"Shall we begin?" asked Erika.
"You asked for it." he said.
"Pidgeotto, gust on Vileplume!"
"Growlithe flamethrower on Vileplume!"he comanded.
"Pidgeotttt!"
Pidgeotto made a huge gust.
And Growlithe used flamethrower.
Vileplume was barely standing.
"Vileplume, use Giga Drain on Pidgeotto!"
"Victribel use Sleep powder on Pidgeotto!"
Pidgeotto's health was slightly drained.
Vileplume got a bit of health.
And Victribel had used Sleep Powder.
Pidgeotto fell asleep.
"Grr....Growlithe use your most powerful flamethrower on Vileplume!" Gabe said angrily.
"Grooooowle!"said Growlithe as it unleashed a real powerful flame.
Vileplume couldn't stand the heat, and it fainted.
"Vileplume good job,return." said Erika as she pointed the Pokeball at Vileplume.
Victribel was left.
Pidgeotto woke up.
"Pidgeotttt!"
"Victribel use solarbeam!" she said.
Victribel was charging up.
"Growlithe, use flamethrower to fight back!"
"Pidgeotto you use gust!"he said.
A combination of a fire attack and a air attack was formed.
It had blasted Victribel's solarbeam.
Then it hit Victribel.
Victribel had fainted.
"Victribel, return." said Erika.
"Oh yeah! we won!" said Gabe.
Pidgeotto had started glowing.
"what the f***?" said Gabe.
"It's evolving!" he said.
Pidgeotto had evolved into a Pidgeot.
Erika smiled at Gabe as she gave him the Rainbow Badge.
"Umm...Erika, can I get your number?" he asked.
"Sure."
"I'll call you" ;D he said.
"Ok, bye!"
Gabriel blew at kiss at Erika.
She did the same.
Gabe left the gym.

[Tony]

Tony entered the gym and walked up to Erika. "I'm here for a Battle." Tony said out of breath from running. "Sure, 3v3 okay." She said. "Yep." Tony said calling out his first pokemon, Charmander. Erika called out Tangella. "Charmander Flamethrower." Tangella avoided the attack and then used giga Drain. "Charmander get close, Fire Fang." Charmander bite down on the Tangella with firey force. "Tangella uhoh, use Giga Drain." Charmander got hit and was very exaughted. 'Charmander one more Fire Fang." Charmander landed a critcal hit but it still wasn't enough to knock tangella out. Tangella used giga Drain and knock out Charmander. "Alright your up Growlith, use Flame wheel." Growilth came oout running at Tangella. " Tangella used Mega Drain and meissed Growlith. "Another Flame wheel." Growlith his again and knocked out Tangela. Erika called out her Bellsprout. It used Razor leaf then Vine Whip. Both attacks hit and it was a good combo. "Hmmm Alright lets try our own combo. Flame Wheel then Fire Fang." Growilth used Flame wheel to send Bellspout flying then used Fire Fand seconds befor it landed. Bellspout was knock out. Erika sent out her last pokemon, Victorybell. "Growlith Flame Wheel!" Tony said. Growlith rushed at Victorybell with fire sninng around him. It hit victorybell head on, then Victorybell countered with poison powder. Growlith fell to the floor and was poisioned. "Growlith come on, one more Flame wheel." Tony called out to Growlith. Istead of a normal flame wheel the was a big red aura around Growlith and he left a fiery trail behind and he raced toward Victorybell. It hit, but the recoil damge knock out Growlith alonge with Victorybell. ((The aura is like the blue one for Head Smash and the yellow one for Volt Tackle.


Erika hand Tony his badge and left so he could meet up with Jin Starla and Kano again.

BIC: Adam glared darkly evil swirling inside him it reflecting on his pokemon, He would use anything to win, even the enviroment around him. Adam had swapped Fist for Big Arc at the poke centre before hand and wandered into the gym "Ah a evil one" she said quizically
"Shut up" Adam said "Lets get this other with so I can become Pokemon Champion."
"So Sure are you" She said "Go Tangela"
"Ha, Go Big Arc Flame Spin" Tangela flew into the other to the wall opposite Adam, "Now what about a 2 pokemon on 2 pokemon battle for the badge?"
"Okay I am always up for a challenge"
"you'll need to be! Go Birdy Whirlwind, Go venus use absorb!"
"Go Viplume and Victreebell. Both use Razor Leaf"
Venus use body slam on Victree bell on Victreebell! then Birdy use steel wing on it!"
Victreebell lay next to tangela panting for air
"Are you ready for Defeat" Adam asked
"Not yet, Solarbeam"
It hit birdie and he hit the floor fainted

"Venus use Solar Panel. The flower on his back rose up and absorbs light from the glass cieling Now Absorbed Solar Beam!" that was venus' special move! After the flash clear Adam Was there standing silently his green cape slightly burnt at the end, Venus smiling after levelling up, Erika was aplying potion to her three Ko'd pokemon. She had thrown the badge mid blast in an attempt to free her Viplume it lay on the floor Adam picked it up and stamped it to his Trainer card and began healing his own pokemon. Hiro was walking to the gym with an over-excited Jessica infront of him.
"Oh, I can't wait to get my FOURTH gym badge! And after we have defeated this one we can travel together around in the whole Kanto region defeating ALL the gym leaders! And when we are done here we can go to Johto and then maybe even to Hoenn or Sinnoh!!!"
"Shut up" said Hiro "we're here"

They opened the door to the gym who had grass and plants everywhere. In the other end of the gym sat a girl who had to be the gym leader.
"I want a battle with the gym leader!" said Hiro
"Well that is me." said the girl "and today I'm in the mood for a double battle with only using two pokémon each!"
"Whatever..." Hiro said. Since he had gotten that Growlithe from that kid he was pretty sure to win in a grass gym.
"Okay, let's begin!" said Erika "Victreebel and Vileplume! I choose you!"
"Go, Growlithe and Eevee!" Hiro said
"Way cool, Hiro!" said Jessica who sat on the tribune watching the battle before she was going to challenge Erika after Hiro was done "I also got an Eevee!"
"...Okay... Growlithe, use flamewheel on Vileplume, Eevee use a sand attack and quick attack combo on Victreebel!" said Hiro. Growlithe's attack missed while Eevee hit it's target. The Growlithe was weaker than Hiro had hoped.

"Vileplume! Counter with giga-drain on Eevee!"
"Growlithe, protect Eevee with ember!" Hiro yelled. Growlithe hit and stopped Vileplume. "Now is your chance, Victreebel, use tackle on Growlithe!" said Erika and Victreebel hit Growlithe and it struck into the ground.
"Eevee, get Victreebel away from Growlithe with a quick attack!"
Eevee hit Victreebel and fainted it.
"Victreebel, come back!" said Erika " Vileplume, use tackle on Growlithe!" Growlithe fainted.
"Hm." said Hiro as he withdrew Growlithe "I'll have to release this one. It's way too weak... Eevee use quick attack!"
"Vileplume, use giga drain!"

They bot hit eachother and lay flattened on the ground.
"Go Hiro!" yelled Jessica "You can do it Eevee!"
Eevee raised up with it's legs shaking while Vileplume fainted.
"Hand over the rainbow badge. I'm leaving" said Hiro
"No, you don't!" said Jessica "you are going to watch my battle first!"

Hiro sighed and sat down on the tribune to watch the two girls battle

After another intence battle for Erika, Jessica turns out as the victor in the end.

Kano entered the gym. "I am Kano. I wish to see Erika for a gym battle." Said Kano. Erika walked out from a door. "Hello, I am Erika, so you want to battle me?" She asked. Kano sniffed a smell that was around. "Hey, whats that smell?" Asked Kano. "It's just a famous perfum I own." Said Erika. "Wow, it's nice, okay, now for the battle!" Said Kano. "Tangela! I choose you!" The Pokemon came out. "Squirtle! i choose you!" Said Kano. The Squirtle came out. "Tangela! Use vine whip!!!" The vine came at Squirtle. "Squirtle! Dodge it and counter it with a watergun!" The watergun hit Tangela. "Now Squirtle! Shoot a very powerful watergun!" The gigantic amount of water hit Tangela sending it across the floor. "Tangela! Get back on your feet and use bind!" "Squirtle! Dodge it!" The Squirtle was dealt damage, but escaped the trap. "Squirtle use watergun!!!" The water hit the Tangela once again and knocked it out. "Tangela! Return! Victreebell! Your in!" The Victreebell came out. "Victreebell! Use Razor Leaf!" The razor leaf came at Squirtle and dodged it. "Squirtle! Now use watergun twice!" The 2 watergun attacks hit the Victreebell, "Victreebell! Use razorleaf one more time!" This time it hit. "Squirtle! Use watergun!" The watergun missed. "Victreebell, vinewhip!" The vines hit Squirtle and knocked it out. "Squirtle return, Nidoran I choose you" The Nidoran came out. "Use tackle!" The tackle hit the Victreebell, and from the poison spines, it poisoned the Victreebell causing it to get knocked out. "Return! Vileplume!" The Vileplume came out. "Use vinewhip!" The vine whip missed. "Horsea, watergun!" The water hit Vileplume. "Vileplume! Use stun spore!" The smell was terrible. "Horsea! Maybe you could push it away, water gun!" The watergun went through the terrible smell and blew it way, from luck, it hit Vileplume. "Vileplume use poisonpowder!" The Horsea knew what Kano was going to say, it shot a watergun, and pushed the poisonpowder away and it hit Vileplume causing it to get knocked out. "Yeah!" Erika handed the badge over to Kano. "Thank you, that was fun." Said Kano returning Horsea. "Bye." Kano left back to Celadon City.
