Viridian Forest

[Dark Slayer]

Dark frowned. This didn't make any sense. Usually this forest was crawling with pokemon. They must be in the wrong place right now. Carefully, he made his way with Ashly deeper into the forest. Soon enough, he found a Caterpie not too far gone. He patted Ashly on the shoulder and pointed it out.

Leaving her with the Caterpie, he walked around a bit more, letting Stang pick any berries it found and put them in his bag when he got them. It seemed like he would never find a Pikachu. Just plenty of Caterpie and Weedle. Every now and then he'd find a tree with the cocoon pokemon, but that didn't help him either. He might as well just give up...

[~*Ashly*~]

Ashly nodded and sent out the baby Pidgey she siad very clearly"Do not eat! just attack it.." Pidgey nodded it wasn't hungry anyway.
Ashly shouted for pidgey to use peck
Pidgey seemed confused.. but got the idea and used peck on the caterpee.

Caterpi seemed busy it started to cry, but then attack Pidgey using posion sting.
Pidgey dodged and used peck somemore so the caterpi couldn't use posion sting agian.

Caterpii fainted becuase it felt like it was getting eatn up and the attack was super affective.
Ashly threw a Pokeball

it made two nioses and dinged.
ashly went over to pick it up and Pidgey jumped onto Ashly's shoulder..

Rose was starring with jealousy wishing she was a bird to do that.. walking over to Ashly she sneeked out her Pokeball and returned herself,,,

Ashly was amazed by what she just saw.. She felt dazed for a min.. but didn't mind... If Rose wanted to be in her ball let her,,

Walking a few paces more.... Ashly saw Dark he seemed to be looking for a poke....

She asked kindley.. "Umm are you looking for that Pikachu?" Well not kind it was o brother kind of voice... Then she sad"Okay let go train like a short battle,, so we can build up are Pokes strength and are strategy....Besides I need to lvl up this Pokemon..."

OOC: Okay, there's one thing you should probably know so you don't get into trouble... Caterpie doesn't know Poison Sting. There's nothing for it to be able to use Poison Sting with. And I'm pretty sure pokemon don't eat other pokemon. There's non-pokemon caterpillars and stuff. lol. Just so ya know.

IC: "Alright, you want to battle with me? We can each use two pokemon. Just so we can test each other. In the long run though, I'll let your Caterpie win. That way we can get it to evolove faster."

Dark stood about twenty feet away from Ashly. "Alright, let's go Aquan!" He released Aquan from its pokeball and it got into a defensive position. "Okay, just be ready for mostly dodging techniques. We want Caterpie to be able to anticipate an opponent's dodges and stuff."

Ashly nodded and shouted"Let go Caterpi.. Use tackle!'

Caterpii stood there for a moment then used tackle.

ooc: sorry... wow only two attacks.. I get Caterpi and Wurmple mixed up..

The Caterpi was slow and Aquan easily stepped aside. Then it reared its head for a bubble attack. "Aquan, no!" Dark called out. "Remember what I told you!"

The Caterpi seemed stunned and looked around, finally seeing its target again. Then it looked flustered and tried another tackle, but Aquan jumped up over it, laughing. Caterpie seemed like it was in an upset and looked at Aquan as if it were angry with itself. Then it shot a sticky substance when Ashly called its next attack, and Aquan was so surprised from the attack. Soon, it was in a cocoon from head to foot.

OOC: I thought I'd get the battle going a little bit for ya.

ooc:Okay

Caterpi went up the strings and used tackle...

Ashly watched with a face of how ridicules the battle.. was..
She returned pidgey,,,,

caterpi missed.... Then it used tackle again hitting Aqua..

Dark tried hard not to laugh and returned Aquan. "Okay, so I'm thinking that your Caterpie is a little funny to see battle. Alright, now let's have it go up against Tatter!" Dark threw the pokeball, releasing Tatter into the battle. "Alright, let's do our best to give Caterpie as much experience from this battle as possible! Tatter, run around it in circles!"

Tatter growled a low "Rattata!" and started to run, getting close to Caterpie and then going around it quickly in circles, making Caterpie turn its head around and around... Dark stiffled another little laugh and waited for Ashly to make her attack.

Ashly just watched she had a embrassed look in her face...

Caterpi watched and decided since it's trianer won't shout anything.. it should jutst attack using Silk spinner on the Ratta since it was running way faster..

ooc: Everything runs faster..

OOC: I know. lol. But don't worry, once it evolves into a Butterfree, then it'll be a real good pokemon for your team! And the attack is called String Shot. But I know what you mean.

Tatter was caught completely off guard at the white strings flying in its face, and soon it was blinded. It stopped and started trying to chew its way out, but then it felt the strings get to its legs and it fell over. The poor pokemon started squealing out "Rattata!" over and over again.

Dark started shifting from one foot to another in a worried way. He hope that Tatter wouldn't end up being mad about this battle. Nodding at Ashly, he said, "Alright, now give it a good tackle into a tree. Then I'll return it."

Once the move had been executed, Tatter was returned and Dark smiled. "Well you know what to use!" Just then Caterpie turned into a white light, and it's shape started to change...

A few seconds later. Caterpii wasn't caterpi NO more! It was metapod!

Metapod! shouted metapod. It learned a new attack called harden.....

Ashly's face lite up a little.. she shouted"Harden!" and keep using that attack!!! until you are Tired of it!"[/b]

Dark laughed. "Well now any pokemon that tries hitting Metapod will be very sorry. I think you should go find some Pidgeotto around, see if you can get them defeated with Metapod. Then you'll have a Butterfree in no time."

Then he continued on his own search for a Pikachu... would he ever find one?

Shly smiled and looked around and gave up then she sent out Pidgey to have it search.. it quickly found a group of pigdies..

The pidgies came down and started to attack Metpod all at once.. Metapod used String and Pidgey watched then joined the battle fighting another Pidgey to whom looked young to..

Metapod got rid of half the pidgies,but they kept teaming up agianst it.. Suddenly there was a blinding light and it evolved into Butterfree....

BUtterfree learned confusion and poison powder..

Butterfree used confusion at every bird,but the one that Pidgey was battling..

Pidgey used peck and hit direct.. he looked around to see Butterfree had evolved and got hit terribly.. Slowly falling Pidgey fainted..

Ashly returned both Pidgey and Butterfree to give them a rest and sent out Rose who hopped around happily to come out.. She quickly saw the bird still awake and used ember burning the bird...

It got so scared it flew away quick.

Ashly got up from where she was and left the area with Rose behind her leaving the birds that where confused and lost....


Ashly kept walking looking for Dark.. There was no luck for she was lost...

There was a ray of sunlight that looked quit beautiful.

[/i] Pikachu ran back down the tree and over to Ritsuka. It nuzzled his hurt arm.

Ritsuka smiled at it wearily. Soubi came back another Pok'eBall in his hand. He must have caughten another Pok'emon. Soubi was shocked when he came back. 'What happened?' he asked.

'Pika pika!' the Pikachu said, pointing over to the three fainted Weedle's. Soubi nodded in understanding, ripping of a peice of his shirt and wraping it around Ritsuka's arm. 'So I see you made a new friend?' Soubi asked.

Ritsuka nodded. 'I think so. He saved me and Bubble.' he said. He took out Bubble's Pok'eBall and made him go back into it. 'Would you like to come with us Pikachu?' Ritsuka asked. The Pikachu nodded. 'Oh, but how will I catch you without a Pok'emon, now that Bubble has fainted. And I'll need a ---' Ritsuka stopped.

Soubi held two Pok'eBall's, one a Pok'emon resided in and one that was empty in front of Ritsuka. 'Oh, okay ....' he said quietly. He let the Pok'emon out of it's Pok'eBall. 'Rattata!' the purple Pok'emon cried.

'R-Rattata, use Tackle!' Ritsuka said. Rattata did, hitting Pikachu quickly. The Pikachu was having fun strangely. 'Again!' Rattata hit it again and Pikachu fell to the ground tiredly from playing. Ritsuka threw the Pok'eBall and waited. It made three noises and then finally dinged. Ritsuka ran over to it. 'Come on out!" he said.

'Pi!' Pikachu said, popping out of his Pok'eBall. 'My gift to you ....' Soubi whispered in Ritsuka's ear. Ritsuka crouched down and looked at the Pikachu. 'Your a girl, but a name is just a name. I'm going to call you Sparky.' he said, smiling at the Pikachu. Pikachu jumped onto Ritsuka's shoulder. Soubi put Rattata back in his Pok'eBall. 'Ready to go?'

'Yeah.' Ritsuka said and they walked out together towards Pewter City.[/ul]

Dark sighed, unsuccessful so far at finding a Pikachu. Even worse, he didn't see Ashly anywhere. This wasn't good at all. Running to where he thought he left Ashly, Dark kept wondering why Pikachu was so hard to find in this forest. They were supposed to be in here. Although it was hard to find them. But still... surely it wasn't this hard.

Just then, he heard sounds of a battle going on. Running towards the sounds, he peered around a tree and saw a trainer. A boy. Who was using a Squirtle and a Metapod. Unfortunately, the boy looked like it had been hurt, and was that... a Pikachu! Then when the battle was over, he saw how affectionate Pikachu was. And not too long after, the other boy showed up.

After seeing the Pikachu get capture, Dark turned disappointed and tried finding Ashly. He might as well get out of this forest. Looking forever for a Pikachu and seeing someone find one effortlessly was very daunting.
