Starla's pokemon greeting the electric pokemon happily.
"There are no Voltorbs where I'm from." She said as she picked up the small egg from the ground and held it close. Looking at the round pokemon silently, she smiled at it. "Don't be so shy little one. I will not hurt you." she stated softly.

Harry nodded. "Where are you from then?" He asked.
Voltorb shrank away from the friendly greeting, not sure what to think. Harry picked him up, and held him in his arms. "It's OK Voltorb. You're OK." He said softly, trying to make the Pokemon more at home.
Voltorb closed it's eyes happily. It was still a baby, and needed a lot of care.

Starla smiled. "I'm from Iron Island in Sinnoh. My cousin, Riley, and i bread Lucario.... till he desided i needed to become a trainer and he shipped me off to Pallet Town." She sighed heavily and looked at her pokemon. "Infact... i have never seen any of these pokemon before a couple days ago."
She looked up at the sky thoughtfully for a moment, then looked back at Harry. "What is your name by the way?"

"Er... Harry." Harry repeated, having said it a few moments ago.
"We used to see a few Voltorbs in Hoenn, but you mostly had to go to Mauville to see them." Harry said.
Voltorb managed a weak smile at the mention of it's name, but it was still very shy.

Lil Tatty slowly approached the Voltorb. just as he reached out to the pokemon he froze. "Tatty. leave the little one alone. You'll frighten it."
Starla watched her Rattata for a moment as he moved back to her side then she looked back at Harry. "So you are new to this region as well?" she smiled. "And here i was hoping you knew where i could catch a Sandshrew. I've never seen one in real life, only in books. and i hear that there is an electric trainer for a gym leader."

Harry smiled. "Nah. Sorry. Haven't seen any yet. I have seen them in Hoenn." He said. "Catching one would be a good idea against Lt. Surge." Harry grinned. "He's pretty powerful."

Starla grinned. "The more powerful the trainer the greater the challenge."
She looked at her pokemon for a moment. "Harry let me introduce you to my pokemon. The charmander is Chelsea, the Rattata is Lil Tatty and the Metapod is Checkers." All of them bowed or nodded their head at Harry in greeting. She held up the egg. "Not sure when this will hatch... but all i know is it will be only half the size of a normal pokemon of it's species. I think the head of that Pikachu clan gave it to me because they thought it was a dud and wouldn't hatch." She frowned at the thought of the egg never hatching and hugged the egg.

Harry nodded. "Well, as you know, this is Voltorb, and..."
Harry released Bulbasaur, Beedrill and Nidoran.
"... these are Bulbasaur, Beedrill, and Nidoran." He said.
All three Pokemon nodded some sort of greeting, and Nidoran bounded straight over to Starla's Pokemon. Bulbasaur (as usual) couldn't be bothered, and Beedrill perched on Harry's shoulder.

Starla watched the Beedrill with untrusting eyes for a few moments then smiled at all of the pokemon.
"Greetings to you all." she stated. Looking back at Harry she smiled again. "So where are you headed? And.... you wouldn't happen to know the way out of here would you?" she looked down at the egg in her arms and blushed a little, "I...kinda got lost and never made it out of here on the right path yesterday."

Harry felt Beedrill shift slightly on his shoulder, and knew that he was feeling uneasy.
"I'm headed to Pallet Town... I have a delivery to make." Harry said, hesitating slightly.
"And I'm pretty sure Beedrill knows the way out of here... he did live here." He added, Beedrill nodding. "Drill!"
"But I'm supposed to go to Pallet first... you wouldn't mind coming would you?" Harry added hopefully, not entirely sure why he was asking.

Starla blinked in surprise and smiled at him. "Sure. It will be nice to have more company." She grined and laughed softly. "Human contact is always a good thing when traveling with pokemon. Too long in the feild and one could start to think they were one!"
All of her pokemon looked at her funny. Her soft laughter died as she blushed and looked at the ground.

Harry grinned. "Don't get it." He added without changing expression.
"Ah, well." He said. "D'you want to get going? It's nearly morning." He said, noticing the lighter sky, and orange tint in the east.

Starla looked up at the sky, then back at Harry, and smiled.
"Yep. Your right. we should get going." She stated and stood up. "Alright team! Lets clean up the site and get moving!" She said as she placed the egg in her backpack and helped her pokemon clean up the camp. After a few moments they were all ready to follow Harry. Chelsea and Checkers were in their pokeballs and Lil Tatty sat at Starla's feet.

Harry nodded, withdrew Bulbasaur and Nidoran, and asked Beedrill to show them the way.
They were soon out of the forest, and Harry took a deep breath of fresh air. The sun was just rising.
"Nice day huh?" He said.

"Yes it is." Starla nodded taking in the crisp morning air. The silver haired trainer walked quietly by Harry's side.
Lil Tatty trotted happily next to her ear alert for anything.
