Kano was walking around for a while. He saw a level 9 Rattata. "Your mine! Squirtle I choose you!!!" The Squirtle was released. "Squirtle use tail whip." The tail whip hit the Rattata. The Rattata came in with a tackle "Squirtle dodge and counter it with a tackle." The tackle hit the Rattata and knocked it out. "Wow, that was fast." Said Kano. "I think I'll go to Pewter City for a badge... I'll let Zephur know somehow..." (Moved to Routee 22)

As Kano watched the two battle, he returned Nidoran to it's ball to give it a chance to rest from it's battle. He and Bulbasaur watched the on going battle between Kano and Zephur. He nodded to Zephur when it was made clear he would be joinging them and he and Bulbasaur followed the to the Pokemon Center.

Kathy left Pallet and headed towards Viridian City, Pallet's neighbor.
"Ahh...the air is so fresh!!" Kathy exclaimed
"I know..."
"Go Charmander!!" Kathy called out
"Charmander!" Charmander cried
"Come on Charmander! Let's take a nice walk together!!" Kathy exclaimed
"Char,Char!!"
Then, a Pidgey swooped down catching a bug.
"Oh wow, a Pidgey!!" Kathy took out her PokeDex
A common sight in forests and woods. It flaps its wings at ground level to kick up blinding sand.
"I've got to capture this!!"
"Char, Charmander!!" Charmander cried, releasing an Amber.
The Pidgey quickly dodged it and dived to do a Peck attack...

"Dodge it Charmander, then use Tackle!!"
Charmander dodged the Peck attack and did tackle.
It made a hit, but Pidgey was still in.
"Ok Charmander, use Amber once more!!"
Charmander scored a direct hit!!
Pidgey was defeated.
"Ok, go Poke-Ball!!"
The ball wiggled for a few seconds...
Kathy watched from a distant
Finally, the ball stopped.
"Yay!!! My first Pokemon captured!!!" Kathy exclaimed, excited
"Char, Char!!" Charmander joined in.

After a new friend has joined, they were on their way again.
"Char,Char,Charmander" cried Charmander, and pointed to a mouse-like Pokemon.
"Oh cool!" Kathy cried as she took out her PokeDex
"Bites anything when it attacks. Small and very quick, it is a common sight in many places."

"Okay Charmander, you're up again!!" Kathy said to her Pokemon
"Charmander, use Amber!!"
Charmander released a tiny flames
It made a hit, but Rattata hit back with Scratch Attack
Charmander wan't badly injured, so Kathy kept it in
"OK Charmander, Tackle!!
Chamander made a hit
Rattata was badly hurt, but did a Hyper Fang attack, and Charmander fainted
"Oh...no!! Err...I'll show you...!!" Kathy picked up Charmander, and held it while she chose out Pidgey
"Come on Pidgey!! It's pay back time!! Use Peck then Tackle!!"
Pidgey did what it was told and left Rattata fainted
"Yay!! Good job Pidgey!!"
Pidgey gave a friendly cry then perched on Kathy's shoulder.
"I can see the next town!! Come on guys! We are just gatting started!!!!

As Kathy and her Pokemon reached Viridian City, they headed to the Pokemon Center, where they met another Nurse Joy
"Hi there Nurse Joy!! Thanks so much for the card!! Pro. Oak did everything, and look...I got....Oh...yea, my Charmander is in really bad shape, can you heal it?" Kathy said
"Oh, why not. I'll have all off your Pokemon ready be tomorrow, come back soon."
"Ok, thanks so much."
Then she left the Pokemon Center to buy some items at the Poke-Mart.
She walked into a shop with lots of Pokemon items
"How do I know which ones to buy?" She said to herself
She picked up a Repel
"Maybe this is it..." She said
Then, a black haired boy walked by.
"Repels are very useful, especially if you are headed to Viridian Forest. Don't forget to buy some potions, it heals your Pokemon." He explained
Shocked and surprised, Kathy dropped the Repel!

Everyone in the Mart looked at the two.
"Oops...now I'm in big trouble!!" Kathy thought to herself
An employee walked towards Kathy and the boy.
"Oh..no. Now what?" He cried
"I'm so...." Kathy began to say
"I'm sorry, My hand slipped and I accidentally dropped that Repel, but don't worry, I'll clean it up." The boy said and winked secretly to Kathy
Kathy, who was shocked, froze and tried to get this all together
After the boy cleaned up the mess he did, the two were walking to the Pokemon Center
"I'm..." Kathy began again
"Don't mention it. I was the one who scared you," the boy said nicely
"Oh...thanks...I'm just sorry I took your time away, you might have some important things to do, other then cleaning up my mess..."
"No problem. Sorry I sneaked up on you like that..." the boy replied
"Ok, thanks...I really appreciated it..." Kathy struggle to say
"Hehe...It was my pleasure,"
Kathy smiles at the boy
"Oh, sorry, I didn't introduce myself, I am Albert, and you are..." He told her
Kathy didn't answer right away, she was too confused
"Hello?"
"Oh, sorry. I'm Kathy, and I just started, so I'm not real comfy with this..." Kathy said, struggling again
"Yea, I can tell." Albert said

"Here, I know, I go with you on your journey, that way, I'll get to travel more, and you can get some advice from me." Albert describe. "Yea, ok,I'm sure to learn alot from you."
The next day, Kathy when to get her Pokemon from the Pokemon Center. After finding out about the Nurse Joys, she and Albert were on their way again.

adam ran through Route 1 when a pidgey flew from a tree and began scratching at Adams arm. then Adams jacket tore and Adam shouted go "Go bulbasaur vine whip attack"
the whips pulled pidgey from Adams arm and slammed it to the floor Adam threw the pokeball at it. Tilt, Tilt The pidgey flew from the ball and kicked sand at the bulbasaur. Bulbasaur spat the sand from his mouth 'Tackle attack' Bulbasaur ran through the sand and jumped up hitting pidgey full on in the chest K.O
Bulbasaur levelled up!

Bulbasaur we are not leaving here until you are a level 10! Adam smiled rubbing sand off his new found friend when someone laughed Adam turned around to find his older brother with his 2 pokemon. (made up character) "Martin, Wanna battle"
"Hell yeah brother, go My Rattata!"
Rattata Tackled
Bulbasaur dodged and vinewhipped
rattata hurt but not KO'd
Rattata tackled
Bulbasaur slightly damaged
Bulbasaur tackled
Rattata KO'd
Bulbasaur levelled up 4times
"brother, Good luck on your quest"
