"No problem," the Aide said, smiling. "Professor Oak has a few right in the back." The Aide went back and returned with a shiny Pokeball. "Here you go," the Aide said, "Have a great journey!" The Aide handed Tony a PokeNav, a PokeDex, a few potions and Pokeballs. He waved goodbye before returning back to his work.

Harry passed Tony on his way out of the lab, and pushed open the door.
"Professor?" Harry said, going through to the room, where Tracey and Oak were.
Oak smiled. "Ah, Harry! Good to see you! What brings you to Pallet?" He asked.
Harry smiled. "I'm going towards Cinnabar Island, I want to challenge Blaine for the badge." He said, and Oak grinned.
"Ah, Blaine. The Fire-Type master. His son is doing quite well in the new Region, so we hear." Oak smiled. "Water and Ground types work a treat, I'm afraid your Bulbasaur will struggle." He said.
Harry grinned. "Well, I have Bulbasaur, and Beedrill, but they will be weak to the fire types. I have a Gastly, an Electrode, and a Nidorino who I could use. Oh, and an Ekans, but Ekans is looking sick at the moment. Nurse Joy can't identify it. She said that Ekans would get better over time." Harry explained.
Oak smiled excitedly briefly, then looked serious again. "May I see your Ekans?" He asked.
Harry nodded, and pressed the button on the front of his funny coloured ball.
Ekans appeared and hissed quietly. "Ekans!"
Oak laughed, and grinned. "You have a Shiny Pokemon here young man. A Pokemon that has the same abilities, but is differently coloured to others of it's species."
Harry nodded. "I found it neglected in the Game Corner." He said.
Oak sighed. "That Game Corner... I have never trusted it."
Ekans sneezed suddenly, making Oak jump.
"Ah, this Ekans does seem to be sick. I'll give it a test." Oak said, taking Ekans through to the laboratory.
Tracey shrugged apologetically. "He's researching the disease PKRS, and he hopes to find a Pokemon infected with it, but he never has any luck."
Harry smiled.
Oak reappeared with a grin on his face. "Your Ekans simply has a common cold, and will be better in no time."
Ekans hissed happily.
"But the reason Nurse Joy couldn't identify it was because this Ekans has had PKRS at some point in it's lifetime, and still has traces of it in it's blood. I have taken a sample, but there is a large possibility that there is PKRS going round at the Game Corner in Celadon. I have sent an Aide over to investigate, and I will go if any Pokemon turns out positive." Oak explained.
Harry gasped. "My Ekans has had PKRS? Wow!" He said.
Oak nodded. "I think you had best be getting on your way. The ferry to Cinnabar leaves in minutes." Oak said.
Harry got up, and Ekans wrapped itself around his shoulders.
"Thanks Professor! Hope you find out more about PKRS!" Harry called as he set off at a run to catch the ferry.

Lexi walked into the lab. "I'm here for my starter. I want Squritle if there is one."
"Ah. a new trainer. Okay heres the Squirtle, 5 pokeballs, Pokedex, and here is your name on your trainer card now." said the Professor. "Okay thanks."Lexi walked out of the lab and released her Squirtle to get to know it.

Vash entered the lab, and looked arround. He found the professor and said, "Hi, I'd like a Charmander please."

Leyda had heard numerous things of professor Oak. They said he seemed nice and kind-loving. She opened the doors to see two pokeballs left on the table, and yet, no professor. Leyda grabbed the pokeball to the left, and held it firm. She turned the ball in her hand and pretending to throw it.
"I see you have become familiar with that pokeball." A voice came from the left of Leyda.
Being embarrassed Leyda abruptly set the ball down and looked at the silhouette standing above her.
"Umm...I-i'm sorry.." Leyda said, staring.
"None taken. I am Prof. Oak and this is my Lab. And according to your actions, I reckon you are a beginner yes?"
"Yea-Yes. I came here from the instructions of Nurse Joy. May I see these pokemon..?"
"Of course!" Prof. Oak lifted the pokeball Leyda was holding and pressed the button in the middle of it. Out popped a green reptillian creature with a bulb on its back. "This is Bulbasaur. It is a female who knows as of now scratch and leer. Bulbasaur are grass type Pokemon." He took the other ball and pressed the button. The next creature looked like a blue turtle. "This is Squirtle, it is a male who knows tackle and growl. Squirtle are water type pokemon. Now, take your pick from these two." Prof. Oak smiled upon Leyda as she pondered what pokemon would be her lifelong partner. The two pokemon stood their ground as Leyda looked at each.
"May I have the Bulbasaur...please?"
"Of course!" Prof. Oak nodded at the Bulbasaur who then tackled Leyda happily. Squirtle bowed its head as it returned into its ball.
"Good luck Leyda, take good care of your new pokemon." He then handed her five balls and explained their use. Leyda nodded as she held her bulbasaur tightly.
"I promise that I won't let you down on this alright Prof. Oak. But now I need to begin my journey!" Leyda smiled and said her goodbyes.

Kairi: I can't believe I'm late. I hope that the professor still has some pokemon left. I still don't understand why I couldn't get my starter from Professor Elm. *Runs into the lab breathing hard.* Sorry I'm late Professor. Please say you still have some pokemon left. *She saw one pokeball sitting on the table in the middle.* Oh one left I'll take this one. *Out poped a Pichu.* Aww. It's so cute.
Pichu: *Blinks* Pichu?
Kairi: Hi there little guy. I'm Kairi would you like to be my partner?
Pichu: Pichaaa.*Grins and jumps into Kairi's arms.*

me: (running fast to Oak's lab) man, I overslept!!!!
(I got to Oak's lab)
me: (panting) got any pokemon for me?
Oak: hmm...( got Pikachu out of the pokeball)
me: whoa..a Pikachu
Pikachu: Pika!
Oak: (handing supplies) here are 5 pokeballs, and a pokedex

**Kairi and Sora, you can only choose between Charmander, Squirtle or Bulbasaur for your starter -- Unless you have an admin tell you it's alright. SO you'll have to catch your own Pichu and Pikachu - sorry.
