Zephur walks in with a big grin on his face. "Hi Professor Oak! I'm here for my Starter Pokemon!" He walks over to Prof. Oak. "If it isn't too much trouble, I would like a Charmander please. I simply love fire pokemon and Charmander is one of my favorite Kanto fire pokemon! So please can have one?"

Oak smiled. The new trainer was very polite.
"Of course you can. Here you go." Oak said, handing a Pokeball with a small flame symbol on the front over to the trainer.
"Take good care of him." Oak advised, hoping that this trainer would be as good at training as he was at being polite.

"Thank you very much, sir." He bowed and left the building with his new pokemon. He threw it in the air and the pokemon was released. "Char, charmander!" Charmander blew out a flame upwards into the sky in joy, signaling Zephur that he was happy to have a young and new trainer. "Hey, Charmander. I want to be a Pokemon Master, so I won't lose to anybody. I need your help to get to this goal. So, come on. Let's head towards Viridian City. Route 1 takes us there. Lets go!"
Charmander smiled. "Char, char!" Zephur took out his pokeball. "Return, Charmander!" A red flash came out of the pokeball and absorbed Charmander into the ball. Zephur ran into Route 1, heading for Viridian City.(Moved to Route 1)

He thought back to his days with a Charmeleon...

Kano walked in, "Hello Professer Oak. I am Kano, I seek a Squirtle please." Said Kano. "I will become a water Pokemon trainer! I will battle many people and become a Pokemon Master!" Said Kano.

"Okay, Thank you very much sir!" Said Kano walking out slowly then once he got to the outside of the building, he began to dance. "Yeah!" Then he threw out his Pokeball, and flashing lights released Squirtle. "Squirtle Squirtle!" The Squirtle was looking at Kano, Kano was dancing. Squirtle shrugged, and began to dance. "Squirtle! Squirtle!". "Okay, now Squirtle, we will not be defeated in any battle, okay?" Said Kano. "Squirtle!" Said Squirtle. "Okay we are going to Viridian City. So first to Route one, capture a few pokemon, and enter Viridian City, got it?" Said Kano. "Squirtle!" Then he returned Squirtle into the Pokeball. They moved to route 1. (Moved to route 1)

Spar walked into the room a few seconds after Kano left, wondering which Pokemon that guy had chosen. He already knew which pokemon he wanted, as his goal was clear already.
He stood before the man he presumed to be Oak.
"Um..excuse me. Is this where I get my starter Pokemon? If so than I'd like a Bulbasaur....please."

pala walked in to the lab wishing tat the charmander was saved for him just like oak had said and as he waited prof oak arrived and he asked 4r his charmander to start his great journey...

Oak handed pala the Pokeball containing Charmander.
"Here you are, take good care of him." Oak said.
Oak got Bulbasaur and handed it to Spar. "Same for you."

Spar gave a non-chalant salute before sauntering out of the building in the same melancholy manner in which he had come. He looked at the Pokeball in his hand as he did so, knowing his journey was now truly underway.

Kathy looks up at the lab.
"This must be it" she says to herself.
Kathy knocks on the door
"Hello?"
The door opened a few seconds later.
"Why hello young trainer" exclaims Pro. Oak
"Hello Professor" Kathy said.
"You must be here for your first Pokemon, correct?" Pro. Oak asks
"Why yes." Kathy replies
"Well then, come on in."
Kathy walks into the refreshing lab.
She sits down on the couch.
Pro. Oak then comes in with another female trainer.
"Her name is Lisa, and she happens to know you..." said Pro. Oak
"Uhh....yea...she is...uhh..." Kathy sputtered
"Well, she just came in, right behind you." Pro.Oak said
"Uhh...she has been my neighbor..." Kathy said, still spluttering
"Okay then, I'm going to check on the Pokemon, you two can chat for awhile." Pro. Oak said
"Well well well, you're going to be a Pokemon Trainer too?" Lisa snickered, half insulting
"Ha...and going to be a much better one than you" Kathy said, also insulting.
"Wow...still jealous...my my, when will you get over it?" Lisa snickered again.
Kathy groans, frustrated
Lisa, a sworn enemy, or rival, has known to (Kathy) always insulting her about how stubborn she is(though she is at times).
Pro. Oak came into the room
"Well, now that you have a small chance to chat a little, lets move to my lab.
Kathy,Lisa, and Pro. Oak walks into his white lab.
"Wow...nice..." admires Kathy
"Well thank you" replies Pro. Oak, smiling " took me quite a long time to get this set up.
Lisa frowns "Why is she always admired...?" she said to herself.
"Alright, now I will give you you're Pokemon for your journey." Pro. Oak said to the girls.
There was 3 Poke-Balls on the table.
Kathy studies them for a moment.
"Will you hurry up??!!" Lisa yells, frustrated
"Well, if you want yours so bad, then go ahead!!" Kathy snickered.
Lisa groans
Kathy picks up a Poke-Ball
"Alright, I'll pick a cute Charmander." Kathy said, proud
"Hmrmph...then I'll chose..." Lisa snatched up the Poke-Ball with Squirtle inside.
Pro. Oak handed them both a Poke-Dex "Don't lose these, for they can not be replaced.
"I won't lose mine, but I'm sure show-off girl will" Lisa snickers as she puts the Poke-Dex into her front pocket.
Kathy frowns "What does she know" she said to herself
"Now, I will get you both 5 Poke-Balls, these are used to catch wild Pokemon you find." Pro. Oak told them
Lisa takes her 5 balls
Kathy took hers
"I'll be going now, no time to stay and talk with you...smell you later" Lisa said, then she swirl around and left the lab.
"Oh my...whats wrong with her?" Pro. Oak ask,confused
"Oh everything..." Kathy said, smiling.
"Okay, now that you have every thing, go on now." Pro. Oak said
"Ok, thanks Professor Oak." Kathy said, waving good bye.
"Ok, have a safe journey. that Charmander can be stubborn, but can also be a good friend. Take care of it. And good luck!" Pro. Oak said as he waved good bye.
"Ok Professor. I will!!" Kathy said
Then, she was off, to her Pokemon journey...
