Lily walks up to Professor Oak.
"Welcome new trainer. Are you here to get a Pokemon and start your journey?"
"Yes I am. I would like a Charmander, please."
"Alright. Let's see." Professor Oak looks walks over to the sleeping Charmanders. He picks one up and hands it to Lily.
"How about this one?"
Charmander rubs its eyes and stares at Lily and Lily stares at it.
"Char Char!"
Lily smiles and cuddles the young Charmander. It doesn't reject and cuddles her back.
"I'll take this one Professor Oak."
"Okay. You'll need some supplies."
Professor Oak gives Lily everything she'll need.
"If your pokemon get sick make sure you take them to the nearest Pokemon Center. And if you run out of supplies go to the nearest Pokemon Shop, okay?
Lily smiles. "Don't worry Professor Oak. Everything will be fine."
Lily walks outside and sets Charmander on the ground. She sits cross-legged in front of it.
"Looks like you and me are going to be partners."
Charmander looks more and happy about that and playfully tackles Lily to the ground.
