Danny is the Gym Leader of the Navel Island Gym. He hands out the Sea Ruby Badge to trainers who defeat him. Like Cisy he does his gym batles differently. Round 1 You must climb Navel Mountian without the aid of your pokemon. Who ever reaches up top wins. You better be good at rock climbing, for Danny is a expert climber, and hiker. Round 2 With the aid of your pokemon you must create a bobsled(toboggan) with materials aound or make it your self. Materials around are wood and trees. Danny uses his pokemon to make a bobsled made of ice. Whoever reaches the bottom wins Round 3 This is also to make the battle not pointless. The challenger must have a 2-on-2 match with his pokemon.Like Cissy's gym round 2 counts as two wins. Danny Team Geodude lv 42 Scyther lv 43 Electrode lv 44 Nidoquen lv 45 Machoke lv 45

Aaron trotted into the gym, a refreshed look on his face. Wearing a trainer’s hoodie, a simple pair of denim jeans, and a chain hanging from his studded belt, Aaron looked around for the gym leader. He had trained in the mountains, and had just showered off at the nearest gym. Changing into a fresh pair of clothes, as well as getting a hair-trim, and doing some laundry with the assistance of his Pokemon, Aaron entered the Gym, waiting to receive his newest badge.
Previously, he had bonded with Tanith, his female Treeko, and was now ready to beat the crap out of this nose-bleed trainer they called Danny. Aaron was cocky, but also worthy of his over-confidence. He had grown confident since the start of his journey, and had learned so much from his Pokemon, but could also come across as arrogant because of his faith in his Pokemon. Either way, Aaron spotted the one they called Danny. "I challenge you," Aaron cried, the other trainer looking around. "Sure," Danny said, taking out his Pokeballs, "Obviously you read the sign." "Sure," Aaron said, getting his climbing boots on, as well as a light parka to go with it. The high mountains could be treacherous, as Aaron found out.
“Good,” Danny said, proceeding through the back door of his Gym. Aaron followed, and they soon walked up to the base of the mountain. It was a steeper side of the mountain, and Aaron knew he had to climb well. He used to do rec Rock Climbing, and was only decent. “Anything goes,” Danny replied before taking a dashing leap, flinging himself onto the rocks. Climbing up, Danny began to make progress. Aaron smiled and reached for Blazer’s Pokeball. Releasing him, Aaron jumped on top his orange Charizard and led him to full speed ahead!
Gaining speed, Aaron quickly passed Danny and soon made his way up to the top. It was kind of edgy, but was safe enough to hold about twenty people. Smiling and returning Blazer, Aaron waited for the other Gym Leader… who appeared soon after. Though Aaron was surprised at Danny’s quickness, the rebel with a cause smiled enchantingly before speaking with a chuckle. “American ingenuity,” Aaron said, causing Danny to smile, sweat creasing down his brow.
After taking a ride on Blazer’s back, the two took off their climbing equipment and then danny began to put sledding equipment on. Blazer was tired, so Aaron fed him some Sitrus Berries before returning to equipping himself. Going outside, Danny yelled go and released his Pokemon, who began to pound a huge block of ice into shape. Aaron pulled out Tanith, Blaster, and Blazer, who began to work. Blazer began to wood-burn a tree-trunk, shaping the inside into a bob-sled like hole. Blaster shot away the ashes with water, and Tanith carved the outside with her Razor Leafs, beating it into an aerodynamic craft.
However, Danny was skilled, and with the aid of his strong Pokemon, finished his craft and started to slide down the hill. Just finishing Aaron’s wooden craft, his Pokemon grabbed Aaron and chucked him onto the sled, making him slide down the hill. Though his craft was extremely well made, Aaron had little time, and was second to the great Danny, who should have been an Olympic slider.
After carrying their sleds into the garage of the Gym, Danny stuck his into a freezer, while assuring Aaron that his wooden craft would be sent home for future enjoyment. Danny’s pretty cool, Aaron admitted casually in his head, returning to his work of labeling his sled. Afterwards, the two left for the Pokemon Gym. Danny smiled and nodded, with Aaron returning the con-man smile. “Go, Geodude!” Danny yelled, releasing his Geodude. “Go Scyther!” Danny yelled, releasing his Scyther. The Scyther reminded Aaron of Blade. “Go Blaster and Blazer!” Aaron roared, hurling his two elite Pokemon energetically. The two cream of the crop Pokemon began to stretch. “Go, Scyther, use Fury Swipes!” The Scyther was quick and slashed Blaster a few times. “Blazer, direct your fire moves towards Scyther! Blaster, direct your Bubblebeams towards Geodude!” Blazer used a Flamethrower, but missed Danny’s Scyther narrowly.
Danny’s Geodude smashed into Blazer’s back, but Blazer just grabbed the rock-like creature and chucked him against a wall while Blaster finished him off with a Water Gun, knocking him out cold. Blazer and Blaster were extremely superior to the two opponent Pokemon, because of their levels and type effectiveness. Blazer was slacking because of his help with the mountain and sledding tasks. Scyther rammed into him and used a few Air Slashes, and Blazer looked exhausted. “Blazer, use up the rest of your energy on an accurate Flamethrower! Trust me!” Blazer nodded. He trusted Aaron. Shooting a monstrous flame at Scyther, Blazer was beginning to collapse. “Now, Blaster, shoot an Aqua Ring at Blazer!” Blaster caught his drift, and shot a healing Aqua Ring at Blazer, restoring his energy. Blazer’s flame began to strengthen, and he soon shot a large flame at Scyther, knocking the opponent out to the crisp. Danny’s mouth stuck open as he wordlessly returned his Scyther. Aaron was the first to break the silence.
“Good job, Danny, you put up a heck of a fight considering your Pokemon were extremely under-level. “Thanks,” Danny said, smiling as handed Aaron his Sea Ruby Badge, “You deserve this. Aaron shook Danny’s hand before pocketing the badge. Suddenly his bag began to glow. Searching through it, Aaron found that his egg was glowing. Placing it on the ground, Aaron’s mouth flew agape as the shell began to crack. Danny took a snapshot of it and then watched. Slowly cracking through, a baby Tyrogue popped out of it’s shell! Aaron swelled in glee as Danny also looked at Aaron in awe.
The Tyrogue had trouble standing up, and Aaron was about to help the little guy up, when the small Tyrogue smashed Aaron in the stomach. Grappling over, Aaron coughed in pain. “He needs to pass this test in order to approve of himself,” remarked Danny, who seemed to have had a Tyrogue or such before. Aaron nodded as the baby Pokemon struggled to keep himself up. Using his strength, the baby Pokemon stood up in victory, smiling with a toothless grin. He then toddled over to Aaron and patted him on the back. Aaron smiled and scooped up the baby Tyrogue, thanking Danny for his help.
“No problem, Aaron,” Danny remarked, “You deserve everything that happens to you.” Danny handed Aaron a picture of Tyrogue hatching. “Here,” Danny said, with Aaron nodding in thankfulness. “I’m going to name you… Tae-Kwon.” Tae-Kwon nodded and entered his Pokeball willingly. After thanking Danny once more, Aaron departed from the Gym with a new companion, a new badge, and a new memory.
